Keef
Or just "chilli sauce salad?", like it is one thing. It makes me laugh how you can go from walking in to a shop on a weekday evening and asking for chicken shish with lots of salad, and having a nice chat with the man behind the counter, to falling through the door at 4am Saturday morning, leaning against the counter and managing the word "Donner", which you take with chilli sauce and NO salad! Those guys have met Jekyll & Hyde on many occasions! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/5652-wanted-kebab/#findComment-181571 Share on other sites
Brendan
Walked into a kebabery on Lordship Lane a while back, sober as a judge at 11am on a weekday and ordered a lamb donner. Instead of, ?Chilli-sauce-salad?? the kebaberist just looked at me and said, ?Really?? bigbadwolf
I take it you were thoroughly disgusted with yourself Brendan. From and English point of view Brendan your actions would be viewed as most unpatriotic. Brendan
Yes I realised my cultural faux pas and to make amends quickly found the closest pub, drank 6 pints of Stella, returned to the kebabery and slurred something offensive at the kebaber who then happily presented me with a sauced up, badly packed kebab.
