Right as I've explained before my entrance is barred but I have to have my two cents worth. Louisa, there are no ghosts or poltergeists in Nunhead cemetary. It's the spring time so I'm fraid the only explanation is that the Foxes are getting their freak on and Mad Alice was flesh and blood and paint. There's nothing 'out there' and the truth is 'here'.

Excellent answers Mr BBW

But can you also explain the UFO over East Dulwich, the Alien who lives at the bottom of my Garden and why I have Nessie Junior living in my bath

The truth may well be out there but I for one am not going into any graveyard after midnight (My Cousin made me watch too much Hammer Horror as a child !!)

Interesting points there BBW but can you back them up?

As I tried to explain to my high school headmaster on so many occasions, because I say so, is not a valid argument.

It is an old Victorian cemetery with crypts and clutches of trees, littered with decaying grey headstones hung with sombre stone angels. I think the question is, how could it not be full of spooks?

That noise was foxes, foxes that had the life scared out of them by the shade of a girl in an outdated school uniform who holds her severed head, with gouged out eyes in her outstretched hands, offering it to the people she appears to.

DEVON!

Hear that, Louisa?

Is that why you want to move there? Bet the spooks in Devon are proper ghosts. Not like the overpriced, organic, middle class ghosts you get round these parts.

Of course there are spooks there... didn't they film some of the episodes in the Nunhead Cemetery ?

    • Thanks for your feedback - we always appreciate hearing from members about their experience. The pool temperature at JAGS Sports Club is maintained at 29oC, in line with industry guidelines for mixed-use pools.  This temperature has been designed to balance comfort for lane swimmers and families. Air temperature is also monitored regularly to ensure a comfortable environment for swimmers, spectators and staff. The shower Temperature Mixing Valves (TMVs) were changed in December to improve consistency, and we hope this has made a noticeable difference. If you would like to discuss your experience in more detail, please contact us directly at [email protected] or 020 8613 6500 and we'll be really happy to help.
    • One wonders if he would have defected if he had, ahem, held on to the leadership of Southwark and whether he felt that "Labour are no longer the vehicle for social justice" during his leadership election........my how quickly things change in the thoughts of a politician 😉 I think this sums things up quite nicely: A senior Southwark Labour spokesperson hit back: “Local residents can draw their own conclusions about Cllr McAsh’s swift move from Labour leadership hopeful to the Green Party, after he didn’t get his own way. While he’s thinking about his own career, Southwark Labour are delivering for residents.” One wonders if he will stand as a Green candidate in Goose Green.
    • No doubt if he determines to stand for a ward he will enlighten us - at least his track record is one of using this site to communicate (inter alia). I would suspect that (1) his personal views on traffic will have remained consistent but that (2) his views on local democracy and proper consultation will have as well.
    • Yes, but I want to know where he stands on all this stuff now. My feeling is it won't be any different from Labour?
