Yup, I'm going to make it from 5, for the Wales v Ireland Championship decider - as will have eyes on the afternoon football beforehand so will probably miss the England v Scotland wooden spoon decider..

As for food, they served what looked like half burgers & chips for last Saturday's double header if that is an indicator.. but of course I'd expect the EDT to be rammed tomorrow so maybe it'll just be crisps et al..

Is the EDT on Goose Green? My folks are visiting for the weekend and the mother has asked to watch the rugby on saturday aaaand the football on sunday! what's the bloody point of coming to london to do that, I ask you!?

I might cave and let her watch it, EDT sounds good as long as no-one objects to my bringing the folks along (they're good fun, no need to mind ps and qs or all that)

Good luck at the races Quids - I was at Kempton on Weds night - the evening meetings are great and a good way to watch racing without having to take time off work.

I'm watching the rugby in Crystal Palace, first the England Scotland game, but if we struggle to get somewhere showing the Ireland Wales game, will hotfoot it to the EDT and join you guys. Cmon Oirelaand...

HA

What a day!!!!

Ireland for the first time in my memory win something, and the grand slam is quite something.

Hope you all had a good day, Declan, David and all other Irish rugby fans.

I buy the Telegraph and I have only one thing to say:

Who is Brian Moore?

I await with interest what he will say on Monday after saying that Ireland would choke on the big day.

What an exciting finish, great drama reminiscent of the England's world cup final.

My first time at a 6 nations game, those tickets ain't cheap, but worth it, great experience, and pretty entertaining game too (though not as exciting as the following one)

    • Ah sorry, it was comedy.
    • I have never used AI in my life. It's just notes from my forthcoming monograph on light industry in Dulwich and Camberwell 1879-1946 (dates chosen for obvious reasons).
    • Thank you, this really made me chuckle. It's like you met my brother as he would be the one taking more than his share. Plus the 'pikey' chutney is a winner. Unusual as in can't be identified??? Sadly I'm not the host otherwise I would definitely do that I regularly shop in the Cheese Block and am a fan. But as people have pointed out, there is no cheese shop that charges less based on bulk, so Aldi unusual cheeses may be what the familam receive! Yay, so I can get discounted mouse nibbled cheese still! Oooo, now I do love a Stinking Bishop. It actually offends my stepmum by it's stinkiness but luckily she is not one of the attendees at this particular gathering.  This is blooming genius. It's actually my partner who has the biggest issue with buying in plastic so I will have to hide the wrappers from him!
