I'll second this - perhaps when funding comes up - late in the year?? - its worth putting an application in?

Re: running up hill. It STILL makes me mad every time I pass the one o'clock club and remember how lovely that water feature was for a few brief weeks and how much the kids enjoyed it. I just don't understand why the contractor got away without snagging this???

Putting it right - assuming its too late for them to be held to account - would also be high up my cleaner, greener wish list...

peckham rye park is looking great ... and when we came out of the park and onto the rye yesterday afternoon around 4.30 there was a rather brilliant 7-piece brass band playing just in front and to the side of the cafe... anyone know whe they are and if they'll be returning? so lovely to sit on the grass and listen!

    • There  is a dance fit class at Harris girls on a Monday evening 630 pm which I have been going to for years . It is an inclusive class  with a wide range of ages.    The  teacher is Fi and she is amazing and  the classes are lots of fun.   look on the web justdanceuk .com. There are other dance classes  (flowetic )that Fi and the lovely Lizzie runs  at Harris girls too . They also have an event next week which is a bit further- near Penge  which is a day of dance to include  just dance fit, dancehall, line dancing, garage fit and flowetic . Which is also available to book on that website  ( look at the events section) .
    • that’s just been misused first by Faraz and then Starmer. It’s evocative and negative.  But it’s flooding the news today.
    • I didn't realise that either! I thought it just meant division within communities - religious, racial or otherwise.  Yes, it is frightening. The days of the broad church political party are over.
    • So I've done a little more research into the current use of the word, I hadn't realised it had latterly been used to describe anti Muslim feelings. Still don't like the use of the word. These are horrible times and am fearful for the future.
