I have just been in the large St Crisps shop on LL. Hotel calfirnia was playing when I arrived. When I left 42 miniutes later after a failed rootle around the books, it was still playing the guitar solo.

She's a bona-fide musical genius and 'Ys' is one of the best albums ever made. But yes, she can sound like a duck being strangled, albeit being strangled in tune.

Ys really is a masterpiece though.
