Things that annoy me include, but are not limited to...Gordon Brown, 9-5, the tube in London, ROFL, LOL, LMAO, WTF etc, cash for gold gimmicks, tight elastic on underwear, people that sit on the outer seat on a bus blocking the inner one, bumping a freshly painted fingernail.

Phew, that's about it for now.

Likewise Trebor's Extra Strong Chewing gum which has Peppermint in green and Spearmint in blue. I keep buying the wrong one!

arrrrghhhhhhhh, yes.

i guess bad grammar and spelling, in the greater scheme of things, aren't such a crime- but that one really gets me.

1. people that chew gum with their mouth open (for some reason this annoys me even more than eating food with mouth open)

2. people that sit on the outside of two seats on a train, putting their (small) bag on the inside seat

People who walk forwards while facing and looking sideways... and then wonder why they've walked into you/x/y/z

What way am I looking? The way I'm going. Sometimes I'm stood stock still waiting for them to charge cos I can see it coming and there's nothing I can do.

Usually large blokes about twice my weight. They are the ones that never apologise for knocking you sideways.

I think they mainly wander round and get in the way.

I hate it when you're reading on the bus and some idiot sits right next to you yacking at the top of their voice on their flippin mobile. For 30 minutes. Until their battery dies. More than once I've felt like ripping the thing from their hands.

Don't they all do that these days? I could have sworn that when I was younger, salt n' vinegar came in blue bags, cheese & onion came in green. It makes sense. I'm sure I started picking up & purchasing the wrong ones at some point.

I also hate that people forget this is an EAST DULWICH forum. Telling me that there is a really great hairdressers in LEWISHAM is completely pointless to me. Does anybody travel that far by bus just to get their hair trimmed?

When kids are running up & down being loud/ causing a mess/a scene & the parents who spend so much time shouting 'oh stop it, Timothy! Sit down Timothy!' rather than grabbing them by the scruff of their necks & making them do exactly that. It causes a bigger scene, a bigger nuisance, a louder noise.

Especially on the first floor landing of The Surgery (The Gardens) where people are actually working next door.

    • I am genuinely curious… what is this obsession with keeping children active with things to do after school. From what I know, most  CV kids to rugby or football of a weekend but do they actually need activities during the week after school? What about going home, relaxing before homework and I don’t know, reading a book, drawing, Lego, constructing a car/plane.. even making some cookies…
    • The BBC is one of the finest, if not the finest, broadcasters in the world.  They have been admired by many across the world for their journalism.  There have been numerous arrests since their recent expose on convenience shops that cover ups for criminals - money laundering, contraband,  illegal workers and the like. By no means perfect and some of what they have done in the modern world is questionable - the website often comes across as tabloid or sensationalist, as do some of their documentaries, and at times it is full of low grade game shows, fly on the wall etc which bring the punters and money, including overseas, in but is not quality TV.  In their desperation for 'balance' they've given too much air time and credibility to some more extreme views, which contributed to Brexit and some of the rise in right wing parties.  I wish they'd say 'the convicted criminal' every time they talk about Yaxley Lenon. The programme was clumsy, why it didn't go through proper clearance including the lawyers, I don't know.  But it created zero stir at the time. Zero.  And had no impact on the election, so Trump has no case.  I hope they don't cave in like many of the US corporations and media.  Oh and well done to South Park using the small p*nis defence in ridiculing him. What I expect is as the Beeb is pretty centrist in it;s reporting in riles some of those who thrive on the toxic populism we have seen since Trump mark 1 and Brexit.  How sad.
