When at a roundabout, driving a car, and the person you've given way to (as per the road rules), waves a thank you as if you've done them a favour.

This has happened so many times in the last week I've lost count (I live right by a mini roundabout). I'm just following the rules, don't thank me!

Completely appreciate that politeness is a good thing, that's why I recognise my rage as being irrational :)

I have long since given up on anyone going straight down Underhill Rd through the roundabout giving way to me.

I still find oranges cause me rage, but I probably mentioned that back on page 2.

Trip to the theatre ruined by people yakking and troughing. Friday night audience come up to town for the evening, determined to get their money's worth, laughing at everything regardless of whether funny or not. Seats clearly not designed for 21st century fat people. No 12 bus home next to man with stinking MacDonalds and drunk people with amusing ringtones. Wish I'd stayed stayed at work.
people that insist on wearing a hoodie with the hood up and sunglasses on a hot summers day!!!!! Sunglasses fair enough, but unless you suffer with a medical condition which requires an individual to dress accordingly what's with the hoodie, what's your excuse? Is it a new hipster craze?

Surprising the amount of people that do that, used to drive me mad when I used to watch my son play for the youth side 5 years ago.

When my son played for the under age teams what drove me mad was kids talking about headering the ball. What the hell is headering? Did your son play for DH prior to the youth team PD? Mine one is 23 now. Stopped playing @ U14's

Indeed, the phrase is "heading". Clearly some of those using the headering term have been listening to too many pundits, god help them. My son is also now 23, he played for them until he was 18, he was managed by a guy called Ian, during his last season they won the London cup 5- 1. There was a lot of politics going on around that time, ground sharing with Fisher and all sorts, financial shenanigans. When the lads got to the end of that season they were all released as they were too old and none were taken on by the then manager, again political. Very sad.

When have I done that? Think I've been known to refer to going to a match as "going to the hamlets" but I don't think I've ever called them Dulwich Hamlets and if I did it was an error.

I dunno, all these johnnie-come-latelies, popping in for the first time since 1846 now there's a sniff of success in the air.

Bloody glory hunters!!!

    • I'd like to post a recommendation for Jerry Oscar of H.F.U. Ltd.   Jerry has just completed the renovation of my bathroom and I’m so happy with how it turned out.  My bathroom has a strange layout (with about a quarter of the room/floor space un-useable due to the stairs underneath), but he came up with some great ideas that have really made the most of the space - somehow he turned the room into a tardis and made room for a bath (previously only had a shower) AND even given me extra storage. He's a magician!  I felt he really cares about what he does and treated the project like it was his own home. He was also great to have around – super friendly, easy to talk to and raise any queries or concerns with the project, and he was very respectful of the space. He kept his tools tidy and made sure the bathroom was still usable while he worked, which made a big difference day to day. He doesn’t cut corners and clearly has high standards.  I’m honestly so pleased with how everything turned out. If you’re looking for someone reliable and skilled, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jerry. He does kitchens too, and if I ever redo mine, I’ll be giving him a call. • These Gents are amazing, we asked them to come and paint our whole house interior and fix a number of issues from previous paint jobs. They are professional, clean up after themselves and pay attention to every detail. Their work is outstanding and I can't recommend them enough, Brian and Malachi are incredible.
    • Fabion is an experienced plumber. I was connected with Fabion through an App when I had an emergency issue with my water tank in the loft. He fixed it.  He also came back to replace my taps in the kitchen. Since then Fabion has been able to help me with the following:  1. Putting up blinds - immaculate 2. Dismantling and reassembling beds x2 (30 mins flat)  3. Taking down big old doors Extremely professional. Clean - never leaves a mess. SO fast. Attends when he say he's going to attend. Friendly and kind.  I cannot recommend him more highly.
