A tribute to how much I love the show...and because we're all sooo bored in my office today.

Now this is a story all about how

My life got flipped turned upside down

And I'd like to take a minute just sit right there

I'll tell you how I became the prince of a park called Bel Air

In East Dulwich where I was born and raised

Goodrich playground is where I spent most of my days

Jumpers for goalposts, thought I was so cool

And letting off bangers outside of the school

Couple of Charter School kids they were up to no good

Started brap-brappin' in my neighbourhood

Bitchslapped in the face and my mom got scared

And said 'You're moving over to your nan's up by Bel-Air' (Park)

I waited for a P4 and when it came near

The licence plate said 'you'll be lucky if you see another one this year'

If anything I could say that this bus was ripe

Front smells of mothballs, back seats smell of sh*te

Pulled up near the gaff about 7 or 8

And I yelled to the driver yo, home smell ya later,

Rounded the corner, organic butcher was there

Just seconds away from becoming prince of Bel Air (Park)

Swap the words about and write your own...go on. I dares ya.

    • But a larger number, in a more hotly contested election, didn't. It is an anomaly that Starmer won a landslide in seats with a turnout for Labour which would have shamed Labour leaders in all the 21st and much of the post war 20th century.
    • I was not suggesting anything else!   I'm not sure how you interpret what I said  as "irrelevant"? I was responding to a post saying that Corbyn was "unelectable". My point was that a  large number  of the electorate  voted for him!
    • that's exactly what happened - Brickhouse were forced to close due to rent hike and then Gail's didn't move in until covid restrictions lifted and normality resumed. Gail's would have opened much sooner as they were lined up and able to offer the landlord much higher rents. Brickhouse was a local favourite
    • The Brickhouse closed just before Covid December 2019. Nothing to do with Gails muscling in as they didn't move into till December 2022. Stop trying to fit a false narrative into a story
