There are 5 major world religions. So 4 of them are unfortunatley going to be wrong. 4/5 of religious people are wasting their time.

Come judgement day, you are faced with the leaders of the 5 major religions.

The God you have worshipped lifts a piece of card, gets ready to open it and you hold your breath, He opens it and it says "BLUFF". You feel rather let down.

Have just seen that joke on Mock the Week. Only those who remember "Call my Bluff" will indentify with it, perhaps.

If there is then I'll just talk it out with the deity involved.

God, I'll say, no seriously I will. God, look, no looooook, no really, I know what I used to say when I was alive about you being some sort of construct or superstition or even that time when I opined you were 'a supersticious construct laced with the folderol of oppression and violent bigotry' but I think we can let bygones be bygones can't we?

I'd just been to see The Exorcist and some irreligious hoor at work kept trying to press the works of Freidrich Nietzche on me (forgive me Lord if I didn't spell his name correctly) and I don't think I should be judged too harshly for what was an opinion.

But you know what, f@ck it. You 'gave' me free will, and I've had it. Bet you were behind Free Willy and all weren;t you?

You know what, up yours. You're not the boss of me you f@cker.

Get thee behind me Satan? HOW DO.

To quote Bill Murray UP YOUR BUTT WITH A COCONUT.

It may come as a great surprise to you Quids but I'm not a very heavy marijuana user. I bought some last week but that was smoked between me and the lads. I prefer alcohol as habitual herboids talk alot of shite as I'm sure you'll agree.

Concerning religion. I wasn't brought up in a religious household but I know I'm going to hell. But it's warm and I'll know people there so whateveeeeer!

Anyone got the figures for how many people actively do not believe?

Does that make us in the top five? ie. four religions and one actively saying there is no such thing?!

BHA are trying to change the way the question will be asked in the next UK census. Quite right too!

    • https://www.assistancedogs.org.uk/information-hub/assistance-dogs-emotional-support-dogs-and-therapy-dogs/   hello   i’d be interested to understand if anyone.has experience of Assistance Dogs especially for autistic children of different ages for emotional support and therapy   There was a prior thread on this topic on EDF 10 hrs ago but it had limited experiences and there was a (claimed) change in UK legislation in 2019. Whilst the industry appears unregulated/unlicensed, there are several providers (approx 15, perhaps more) who claim to have fully trained dogs or say that they can help families to train a puppy/young dog over the 18-24 months.  The latter obviously comes with a need for strong commitment to the challenge. Costs for a fully trained assistance dog are quoted at £13-15k albeit they claim £23k total cost to train the dog. On the one hand, this could potentially be a useful solution for some families if such a dog was truly trained as their websites claim and such a dog was accepted in public places and schools etc… On the other hand, I don’t think that I’ve ever seen an assistance dog of this type or in this context (only for a blind or partially sighted person) and hence a real risk of fraud or exploitation! The SEN challenge for families coupled with limited resources in schools or from local authorities or the NHS as well as the extremely challenging experience of many families with schools offering little or no support or making the situation worse leaves a big risk of lots of different types of fraud and or exploitation in this area.
    • Hi there  We live on Woodwarde Road backing on to Alleyns Top Field.  Our cat Gigi has gone missing — it’s been about 24 hours now. She is a cream Bengal. Could you please check sheds, garages, or anywhere she might have got stuck please? And if you could keep an eye out or share on any local groups/forums, we’d really appreciate it. Photo attached.   Thanks so much! My name is Jeff on 07956 910068.
    • Colin.    One for the old school.   Just saying.
