mango
A cry of help. I am currently experiencing day 2 of what is now catagorically my worst ever hangover. All I have managed to eat in the last 36 hours are 2 jacobs crackers. I think a bacon sandwich would improve my spirits but it needs to be good get me out the door. Recomendations? Jah Lush
Don't be such wuss. Two days! Absolutely pathetic. Go to the shops, get the ingredients and make it yourself. Sherwick
Discovered a place called Jacks which is at (I think) 85 Pellatt Road, just off L Lane. It has the most divine Bacon and Avacado sandwiches - probably the best sandwich I'd ever had (but I was very hungry at the time!). Jah Lush
Any greasy spoon worth it's salt should be able to sort you out with a decent bacon sandwich. I would normally do my own fry up but I couldnt face cooking so I went to try out Franklins at lunchtime. It was great and totally hit the spot. sazzle
Black Cherry used to do a good bacon sandwich. I had a franklins one a while ago and it was quite burnt and dry and painful to eat, things must have improved! Sue
Whenever I go to Franklins for a late brunch (we treat ourselves the day after a Goose gig) I always intend to try the bacon sandwich but somehow always end up with the Welsh Rarebit :))Edited to say: I find a pint of their cider with the Welsh Rarebit does wonders for my hangover :)) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/6115-where-is-the-best-place-on-ll-for-bacon-sandwich/#findComment-196440 Share on other sites
