I write a diary every day, have done since I was ten. Can't stop now. Never look back though, but can't start the day unless the previous day has been downloaded... So tend to write at night.

But no, never look back. No point in regrets! At least on here people can edit what's written afterwards!

When I go running on the embankment I tend to compete with other runners. When I overtake I find it's useful to look back in order to gauge distances and pace accurately in order to stay in front. However, I must be careful not to lose balance or focus by looking back too much.

I have regrets for things I didn't do, including situations where opportunity arose and I didn't see it, at the time.

I have even more regret for something I did do and if I'm not careful, soon I will have regret for something I should be doing but am not doing ( or not doing quickly enough ).

One day this opportunity may not be there (and as I've just turned 55, yesterday ) I had better get my finger out, sharpish....

    • Yes, we have a Casio CT-S100 we no longer need, except I dont think we have the headphones any more. It has a USB connection. £50? https://www.argos.co.uk/product/7333639
    • Thank you! She is both spayed and microchipped, and reported missing on Petlog and with the vets.   She normally never goes out the front, certainly for never more than 10-15 minutes, so this is definitely new territory for her. There is lots of dense foliage across the road so there are plenty of places she could be hiding if she is spooked, so we are hoping she will come back when she is calm. The weather isn't helping, she never goes out in the rain. Thank you again!
    • Hi, Have you been letting her out the front door onto the street or would this be a first & therefore unfamiliar with the area? Does she respond to a name & is she spayed & microchipped? Our team carry scanners on our daily routes & will of course be looking our for her. I hope you are reunited with her soon. If not already, notify your street & surrounding streets (find out if they have Whatsapp groups) Dox will print & deliver free missing posters https://www.doxdirect.com/help/free-missing-pet-posters/ Call her at dusk & dawn when street & foot traffic is at its lowest.
