I think sub-editors are a rare and dying breed these days. In fact, I'm not even sure if they even exist anymore. They just shove it through a spell check these days, make sure it fits the page and Bob's yer uncle.

I will pop in soon when I get a chance but I'd feel a bit of a berk introducing myself as Jah Lush.

I'm sure you'll manage, Jah Lush.

I love this shop too and I must make the effort to get down there more often - sorry HPB :(

The Goose Green parade suffers a bit because it's off the main Lordship Lane drag, but it has huge potential with the large paved area, which some of the shops, HPB included, have started to inhabit. I can just see it now, another bistro or two, a few Olive trees here and there, voila!...Square Louisa

    • Fully appreciate your concerns rollflick, but (as you say) it's good news that contracts have finally been awarded. Feels like people want to bemoan its failure before work has even started, which seems a tad negative.
