Following on from cloth bags,i have been given a great link to a company called supreme-creations.co.uk can the edfites have a look at the bags and vote on which bag you think may be the East Dulwich cloth bag. Then cast your vote on here. They are organic and fair trade and the prices look very competitive, which will make southwark smile.

I actually have a standard size cotton bag 38X43 at my desk at the moment and the real problem with these is they actually don't hold that much, ideal for flat things like bottles (I have found this one holds 3 bottles of wine!) but once you start putting in veg or odd shaped things they fill up very quickly. If these are the favoured options then I would go for the one with the extra side panels, but of course cost does need to be taken into account!
Monica, these do look good. I would prefer the ones with the longer handles so you can put them on your shoulder. I have a great one at the moment that i use everywhere, but it's falling apart slowly so would love to replace it. While we're here and can have the ideal bag (!!) I would probably cast a vote for a black one, with white writing on it. Otherwise the white/cream ones just end up looking really scruffy after a while.

The ones that they describe as 'shopper' sound like they're more sturdy than 'carrier bag' - so get my vote!

The coloured one's look good but is this not so green?

Not sure whether this will work....

I will be the canvas bag queen. Fab idea monica.

    • Crawthew Grove was always full of rubbish when Poundland was there and it's been refreshingly free of it since they've moved in. I hope it stays like this, but have a feeling it's going to get worse again with Tesco.
    • Hello, does anyone have a spare stair gate I could borrow for a few days while a friend visits with her toddler?
    • Shame, that's a bit boring. At least the Poundland fulfilled the need of cheap basic toiletries.

I generally don't like inviting strangers into my home for any reason really but when you have a repair you have no choice. Andy is a kind, very pleasant  decent guy. But most of all he's, trustworthy, very knowledgeable and extremely conscientious about his work! He wants to solve the problem for you and keep the customer happy. He was very kind to work around my schedule to sort my repairs. I live alone and I'm very comfortable in his company. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. He's what you want in a tradesman. Someone who's decentand really talented. I'm so glad I crossed paths with him. Andy goes the extra mile to resolve your issue. Don't think twice, just book him!! 07983 688451
