Just watched the highlights. I've never been particularly keen on Ponting - no rational or definable reason - but the last two occasions I've heard him speak I've been really impressed. He has quite a natural grace and humility.

Grieves me to say that, but only fair.

Good morning everyone.

So Australia all out around tea for about 170 with Onions and Anderson taking the wickets. I?ll say at least 4 of them will be lbws off balls that were either high or going down leg but given by Uncle Rudi anyway.

England then come in with 70 odd to make in the last session. The top order all fail leaving everyone with their hearts in their throats. Prior and Collingwood come in and start knocking the runs off. One of them falls with about 2 overs to go and about 15 runs needed. Freddy comes in and smacks a couple of boundaries and then goes out. Broad comes in and a few manic singles are run to win the game with one ball to spare.

Remember, you heard it here first.

    • Purse with cash and cards (including photo card) found in road local to East Dulwich Tabernacle. It will be here (107 Barry Road) all day (Sunday 21 December) if you want to collect or PM me.  In case some one else who knows R Howard, please alert her.    Thank you
    • Thanks Sue.  No the car just drove on.  We don't know if they noticed.  We were driving behind.  We were just glad we could be with the cat, and take him to the vet, rather than leaving him there 😞
    • Certainly the infamous (and mythical) SE London cat killer turned out to be foxes attacking dying and dead cats injured by cars, but fox: cat encounters do appear to happen, even where cats are victorious. Fox: adult humans less so. At least where foxes are the aggressors.
    • That was very kind of you to take the cat to the vet. Did the car not stop?
