silverfox
Many years ago my uncle bought a reduced fresh turkey from Birmingham Bull Ring market on Christmas Eve. When he unwrapped it at home it only had one leg (true story). Does this count as a rot shop? Moos
Bah, jellybaby beat me to it, but I was just about to blow the ref's whistle on free range eggs too. They should have been white barn eggs. And one of them should have been broken in the box and leaking onto your open pack of fags. Which you would have smoked anyway. *Bob*
How about a romantic 'rot dinner'?One of our friends went on a second date with a fella - he offered to cook for for at his place. The (now legendary) dinner consisted of:Starter - Angel DelightMain - Bernard Matthews Turkey Roast, Served with tinned potatoes, Branston Pickle, Crisps and a sliced boiled egg. Dessert - Neapolitan Ice Cream.BEAT THAT Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/7065-rot-shop/#findComment-226679 Share on other sites
Keef
Can't be done, that is the prize winner! Can I just point out though that my shop isn't representative of our general household shops. bigbadwolf
I have to take my hat off to your 'friend' *Bob* as that menu certainly would've brought a halt in conversation. Do you guys mind if I have a go?Starter: Bombay bad boy pot noodle.Main: Tin of heated up corned beef served with baked beans and half cooked garlic bread.Dessert: Melted Vienetta.Oh and how are you liking the new Tesco express (Kirkdale?) Keef? I haven't been in there yet, do they stay open till late? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/7065-rot-shop/#findComment-226689 Share on other sites
woofmarkthedog
I discovered my ex-wife in a proper "Rot off" ,we lived on the top floor & she didn't hear me come in.She was prone on the bed eating tuna, sweetcorn, mayo pasta mix with a spoon straight out of the pan.Eastenders was blaring out & she was ..ahem ..."having a mosey round the ladygarden" at the same time.Ehhh......Quality!W**F ( I of course withdrew from the "scenario" as quietly as I could ) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/7065-rot-shop/#findComment-226710 Share on other sites
*Bob*
That is rotten.Though the way you describe the scenario, it sounds like you were trying to burgle her flat or something? Now that would take the rot-cake.
