I've never (knowingly) heard anything by Goldie before, but was impressed with his composition, and his passion for music. Seems like an interesting guy, not the last we'll hear of him in a classical sense I'm sure.

I agree with daizie he's obnoxious, bullying, agressive, boorish, and a control freak.

He gave Malinda Messenger a hard time whilst she bravely tried to explain the next happening thing, he tried to talk over her all the way through.

He had also thrown her brutishly into the pool and she had complained that he had really hurt her. An untrustworthy character at best and thuggish at his worst.

i didnt remember watching that, i just judged him by his 'aura'. Some people are instantly unlikebale and you dont even have to know a thing about them. Melinda Messenger is cold. Robotic. Guess you'd have to be, getting your tits out for a living .

Need to see tonight's episode on catch up. I caught last week's and was mightily impressed by him. Though he cannot write music in the accepted sense, his pictorial version was breathtaking.

I've seen him play live a few times, when he was a dj about 10 years ago, at festivals and london night clubs

He was considered 'good' then by me and my friends and we owned some of his records

He used to play mainstream jungle/drum and bass. He was one of the more famous jungle djs and quite 'commercial' which is probably why we never thought he was better than 'good'.... cos we were trying to be cool no doubt

He can't read music but due to mixing drum and bass records for probably 10 years or so?, he understands about rhythm and therefore it's this knowledge that i assume he's applying to whatever he's doing now (not seen his the program you're on about)

You probably know all this, sorry if so....

I think it's pretty irrelevant whether he's an utter arse or not, it's the music wot counts. For a first classical effort it was pretty remarkable, especially (not suprisingly) the drum section, not quite my cup of tea but it would certainly be interesting to hear if he carries on in this direction.
