Grove Vale (refurbishing of shops)

I have noticed a number of the shops of Grove Vale are being actively refurbished and are being worked on.....Any ideas of what (if at all) is lined up for the

- old Blackbird Bakery,

- the old Tina's Salon and

- little green shop near Kwik Fit.

I heard that the Old Blackbird Bakery was going to be an icecream shop.....this was a few months ago and I assume that this has all fallen through, as we are mid way through August and no sign of it !

They have been compeltely re-vamping that shop and the flat above, hopefully they are still waiting for that to be finsihed.

I see the coffee shop underneath the new flats still hasn't appeared!

I did spot some workmen in the shop under the flats last week so there might be (?) some hope......you would have thought a good site opposite the station ..

Wrong side of the road for 85% of footfall though. Needs to be fast and easy for commuters. Also think it's a bit close to the Great Dividing Line (rail tracks) to fit the premium coffee shop business models.

I'm honestly not sure what I'd put there - already a bookies and 3 convenience stores within 50 yards. They should have made it another flat.
