Suggest you have a chat to someone professionally for some help and see what they say, before you give up. -
Sadly neither the F1 nor the enter key worked. Still a black screen. I tried both several times. And the red facial recognition light which used to flash at the top of the screen doesn't come on any more either (it was previously, even with the black screen). I think I've probably reached the end of the road with what I can try without physically going inside the laptop? Thanks so much for your help though, it's much appreciated. -
Jenijenjen -its nothing to do with being grumpy, its expecting people to use the language the way it is intended to be used and not use words incorrectly. calling someone grumpy on a local forum, you may find amusing, I find it demonstrates your arrogance and rudeness.

You used to be able to stay at the Salvation Army Training College by Denmark Hill for very little (like a hall of residence; not a homeless hostel!). You have to sign something to say you will not bring in or consume alcohol. Iirc they served breakfast too. And yes The Dog is much better than it used to be.
