I really love the CPT. The fact that all the barladies are good looking is of course an added bonus.

Just don?t like the new (well not that new anymore) wallpaper though although I did figure out that the odd looking flowers on the wallpaper are probably caraway or cumin or maybe fennel.

That is deep, blud. All horticultural an' all, innit.

Seriously, geezer if you ain't teaching as soon as. Human people if need be, then I'm gonna speak to my social worker, his team manager, her head of service, his assistant director and her divisional director until I get an answer.

Hello! Yes to all the above. Although it's not quite my second home anymore, since Candice and Mari left, then my daughter was born. But I still usually get in there on a Friday evening for a few beers, and it is still easily my favourite drinking establishment in the world, and the new crop of staff are a good bunch!

I have heard from several sources that the Sunday afternoon BBQs at the CPT are well worth a try. All William Rose meats and reasonably priced too. What better than to listen to the clatter of Aussie wickets this Sunday, while eating one of Ross's burgers or hot dogs? Sounds good to me!!!! I think the BBQs start at twoish. Good luck England !!

    • Agree that councils were not allowed to plough back housing revenue to create or improve stock. Young people especially, if they are lucky to have a decent job salary wise, find it impossible almost to find rented accommodation which is in a reasonable condition. We have a family member who is sharing a 3 bed ex council flat in Kings Cross area and are paying £2,500 pm between the 4 of them plus all utilities.
    • It wasn’t that long ago that Southwark planted a strip of seed bearing plants specifically for birds. It was parallel to Peckham Rye by the Harris Boys’ school. Naturally, it has disappeared courtesy of Gala.
    • Silly comment.  Read the attachment.  Or go to i-player and watch Winterwatch: https://www.radiotimes.com/tv/documentaries/winterwatch-jack-baddams-protect-birds-comment/ Our gardens are not natural, many of the birds that use them are dependent on us.  Most of us feed the birds, including myself, do it for our own pleasure rather than in a belief that we are reversing the damage done to nature by humans over recent centuries.
    • Thanks @Sue I had no idea what they delivered. Personally I just dont get why anyone living in London would bother with something like this, We can all pop down the road and buy bread, pastries etc and know what we're getting.. Just seems a bit of a yuppie fad and waste of money. But thats just my opinion!
