Maurice, Mo, even Mozza to his more intimate acquaintances, returned to enchant, regale and entertain us with his wit, style and panache and then suddenly he slipped away as suddenly as he re-appearred, around 1 month ago, without any farewell, lingering, fond or otherwise...

Any sightings of our Mozza Guys?

I found him simply marvellous and great value.

I just hope he hasn't forgotten that dinner invitation that he was kind enough to offer me.....

He doesn't have to. *Bob* has a very, very dry and slick sense of humour that doesn't include swearing which makes him all the more funnier.

He's incredibly funny in the simplest of ways, and I miss him.

You would think wouldn't you?

As ever, I think Jeremy has got it about right. When Moz returned recently he seemed more "genuine" than his initial incarnation

But hey, I never trust anyone who prefers anonymity on a local forum to showing their face at least once. That does't mean I don't like the persona, just that I don't trust it

I trust this is some kind of sick joke about Mozza not being the full ticket.

He informed the World that I was "simply marvellous" which I,naturally, assumed he meant.

Was it all a ruse?

Was I the victim of a cruel jape?

Am I not "simply marvellous" at all?

Will he retract my dinner invitation? ( if he exists)....??

    • I've got to disagree with your numbers there - you're comparing apples and oranges. Support for the scheme has reduced from 53% prior to Starmer's announcement to 35% after it, opposition to it has increased from 19% to 49%, but 35% of the public still support it, not -14%. That is impossible + the lowest it could be is 0%. Net approval has decreased from +34% to -14%. The Guardian story seems like a hatchet job on Starmer's popularity and it makes you wonder what their agenda is, given the rumours around a leadership challenge. Starmer has clearly done a f*cking dreadful job on articulating any benefits of the system - if, indeed, there are any - but he's not helped by unverified social media stories about the involvement of Blair's son, stories which have been denied by all parties involved.
    • Credible enough that a National newspaper reported it and that he didn't see them.   Do you think he is a racist?  Or to be more diplomatic that some of his party's policies meet the criteria of being racist?
    • How credible can this report be given that the "former friend" failed to identify himself.
