bigbadwolf
I hear the that the far east is more than happy to accomadate those travelling with dogs. Keep a close eye on your pooch when your hosts mouths start to water though. niknak
Norfolk is lovely - lots of nice walks, vast beautiful beaches (Holkham beach allows dogs all year round), and plenty of dog friendly pubs. We stayed in a lovely place called Strattons in Swaffam (not the most picturesque town, but the hotel was lovely) - hotel is very dog friendly and even supplied our dogs with fresh pork crackling as a treat! Norfolk is only a few hours drive from London. siousxiesue
We had memorable holidays as kids taking boating holidays, it was one of the few ways of taking a dog along, there were no such places as dog friendly hotels and I doubt we could have afforded it...he only went in once and it was in a lock and we all panicked but I think he just shook himself off and enjoyed all the fussing!! Pugwash
St Andews Lodge Hotel in Selsey Sussex. Have a single level annexe of rooms and large garden, very dog friendly. Does B & B only around ?70 a night for double room in high season. Plenty of areas to walk round. Beach can be used outside the main holiday season.
