Norfolk is lovely - lots of nice walks, vast beautiful beaches (Holkham beach allows dogs all year round), and plenty of dog friendly pubs. We stayed in a lovely place called Strattons in Swaffam (not the most picturesque town, but the hotel was lovely) - hotel is very dog friendly and even supplied our dogs with fresh pork crackling as a treat! Norfolk is only a few hours drive from London.
We had memorable holidays as kids taking boating holidays, it was one of the few ways of taking a dog along, there were no such places as dog friendly hotels and I doubt we could have afforded it...he only went in once and it was in a lock and we all panicked but I think he just shook himself off and enjoyed all the fussing!!
St Andews Lodge Hotel in Selsey Sussex. Have a single level annexe of rooms and large garden, very dog friendly. Does B & B only around ?70 a night for double room in high season. Plenty of areas to walk round. Beach can be used outside the main holiday season.

    • I was not suggesting anything else!   I'm not sure how you interpret what I said  as "irrelevant"? I was responding to a post saying that Corbyn was "unelectable". My point was that a  large number  of the electorate  voted for him!
    • that's exactly what happened - Brickhouse were forced to close due to rent hike and then Gail's didn't move in until covid restrictions lifted and normality resumed. Gail's would have opened much sooner as they were lined up and able to offer the landlord much higher rents. Brickhouse was a local favourite
    • The Brickhouse closed just before Covid December 2019. Nothing to do with Gails muscling in as they didn't move into till December 2022. Stop trying to fit a false narrative into a story
    • Very specific I know! For our daughter who has just finished Year I2. There are many tutors advertising but would really like recommendations. I was going to post on the Tutoring sub board but there appears to be very little traffic there. Feel free to call or text 07342 059948  Many thanks
