Keef, they were always splitting up and getting back together again in those days. Probably more so than Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor did in their heyday. Hissy fits and flouncing in and out of the band were part and parcel in being in Oasis for the Gallaghers.

I think they long overstayed their welcome. One and half decent albums and some good singles in the early days is about as good as it got.

Noel at least seems like a half decent bloke and is certainly the one with the talent but Liam is obviously an unbearable fecking arsehole. It looks final this time and thank fook for that.

I'm sad but not surprised. The brothers were heading for crashdown sometime.

The Beatles comparisons? Lazy, and no more relevant than any other pop group.

70's glam rock was much more their forte. That's four tay.

So there's a good looking vocalist and a guitarist with a knack for writing fantastic pop songs on the loose, let's see what happens next.

Away ye naysayers, ye.

    • Lordship Lane has two dry cleaners, three pizza places and an Italian selling pizza, two burger places, three bakeries, two hardware (ish, I'm thinking AJ Farmer here), God knows how many coffee and charity shops, two Italians, three nail salons, five wine shops... Where was the abject outrage when Dynamic Vines opened up literally next door to Cave de Bruno? But I don't see his customers decamped next door - no, those stalwarts are still out in force every night.  In Roman times all businesses were clustered by product. It's what kept prices down. Same in any market you go to abroad, they're all selling the same things next to each other.  Why is everyone being so hard on this new place? It's called healthy competition - you can't curtail the expansion of your business on the basis you that might hurt someone else's.
    • I have a new fixation so any available, please let me know.  Thanks.
