Keef
I remember when they split up in 97, should have just left it there. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/7736-thank-you-god/#findComment-242289 Share on other sites
Keef
Funnily enough, it was for the same reason. One knob was arguing with another knob. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/7736-thank-you-god/#findComment-242290 Share on other sites

Keef
It'll be like when Take That split, you'll have to act as a support line for suicidal fans! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/7736-thank-you-god/#findComment-242292 Share on other sites
Alabama
Has a whiff of attention-seeking to me. They may have captured a zeitgeist in the 90's and releasd two good albums - but after that... erm.. celeb parties at number 10 and infighting... It wasn't a suprise after the 'laryngitis' episode last week. Jah Lush
Keef, they were always splitting up and getting back together again in those days. Probably more so than Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor did in their heyday. Hissy fits and flouncing in and out of the band were part and parcel in being in Oasis for the Gallaghers.I think they long overstayed their welcome. One and half decent albums and some good singles in the early days is about as good as it got.Noel at least seems like a half decent bloke and is certainly the one with the talent but Liam is obviously an unbearable fecking arsehole. It looks final this time and thank fook for that. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/7736-thank-you-god/#findComment-242316 Share on other sites

Jah Lush
That's usually the way of things Jeremy. You're probably right. I heard Noel wanted to take five years off anyway. daizie
It is very wrong Brendan, but it is a throw away society we now live in, recycling really is a last attempt to get something back . HonaloochieB
I'm sad but not surprised. The brothers were heading for crashdown sometime. The Beatles comparisons? Lazy, and no more relevant than any other pop group.70's glam rock was much more their forte. That's four tay.So there's a good looking vocalist and a guitarist with a knack for writing fantastic pop songs on the loose, let's see what happens next.Away ye naysayers, ye.
