my cat "whisper muesli buckets II" has been tricking me by asking for food in japanese!! She has only been doing it for a week or two, she normally only speaks english, even though she comes from the himalayas.Does anyone know how to say know how to say "no! you have had two pouches today you greedy git" in japanese? I feel so mono-lingual and I may be getting a little paranoid that she will get fat.

What you have to realise is that cats are the embodiment of the Antichrist. Cats will, as Brendan has already warned, invade your soul and eventually your very being in order to serve their every need.

I don't have pets but my neighbours have a cat who scratches me now and again and looks at me as though he would happily slit my throat for a shilling if given the chance. I'm forced to tolerate his attitude but now and again when he's sunning himself I like to take the opportunity to pour a bucket of hot (not boiling, just hot) water over the little shit. It balances the equalibrium out a bit. It also feels very satisfying.

Brilliant!! Although i cant say it I will show it to her. Her reading is coming along nicely!!

wolf needs some kind of therapy I think you should save that kind of behaviour for the street hawkers your missus loves so much!

I told the c*nt what I thought of him and c*nted him off good and proper.

I made it clear were he ever to blemish my doorstep again I'd get BigBadWolf to punch his face for him and see how he liked it.

He left my stoop paler than when he arrived, I'll tell thee that f' nowt.

It's not wrong or mean Kel. It's merely natural selection or the order of things, if you will.

I don't bother the cat either, far from it in fact. Last month during one of the hottest days I was walking along my road and I saw Spot (the cat) hiding under a car in the shade. He was locked out and was thirsty. I took pity on the little critter and brought him a bowl of water. Upon offering the refreshment to the little Hitler his paw shot out and tore a nasty cut on my hand and he started hissing and spitting at me.

So when I saw him hunting frogs a few days after it didn't seem unreasonable to turn the pressure washer on him.

That cat obviously has a water phobia I'd say.

Why do cat owners have to let (throw) out there "Dear little tiddles" at night, so I can hear them spitting and meowing at each other in the alley next to my house at 3.00 am ?

Still a pot of cayenne ( 80p Sainsburys ) mixed with a little sand, spread on the path works wonders keeping all the "tiddles" warm these chilly nights.

Yum yum my paws taste Niiiiiiiiice........

Grr

    • To be fair, a pot of tea for one in a department store is a small pot, and you only get one cup or mug!
    • I know - we have been here lots of times since it first opened,  which is why we were disappointed that it was closed at a time it was supposed to be open, but with no notice to say why! I guess we will just  have to ask the reason at our next visit, but I'm not sure we will risk Saturday lunchtime again unless we find the closure  was an unavoidable one off ....
    • Nope. I don’t have this wrong. I’ve tried to put my point across respectfully, without resorting to personal, angry insults. And all my colleagues agree that the BBC got this right in its condemnation.    All you see is confirmation bias.    If you don’t realise that, then you’re part of the problem.
    • We have always gone during the week at lunch time - great place and good value. Husband has been several times on his own and owner knows his first name. I could not go one time for some reason and she sent him home with some spring rolls (free)
