Dad's

We all end up (pretty much) living our social lives gregariously through our children anyway in the end.

It's not a bad thing either.

Oh do we all have diaries (and use them ?)as we are being watched here by them & you know what those girls are like "Have you checked your diary meh meh meh ?"

Congrats RC, look forward to seeing her down the Boleyn (I meant the ground, but I guess we can pop in the pub).

Sorry I didn't make it to the PLough as had been struck down with a horrid stinky cold.

Any plans for a future one, though I guess we could get a de facto quorum on friday at Hoopers?

booo to you lot I went to plough (albeit in me work clothes ) and not one of you turned up for a pint!! what kinda can do attitude is that?? When shall we have the next one? I'm up for it whenever suits and I think the palace tavern should be a good venue.

hugs as ever

    • I've had something similar happen. I noticed it at the checkout because I was only buying one item which I couldn't get elsewhere. It was on special offer and the price difference was significant. I was asked to go right to the other, far,  side of the shop to take a photo of the shelf price. It was just before Christmas (not this year), the shop was jam-packed, and I am ancient and decrepit. Long saga, but I complained and said surely the correct prices should be on whatever resource (?) is used at the till when products are scanned in. I'd have to look back to see the exact outcome, but if memory serves Sainsbury's just gave some bland reply and said complaints weren't passed on to the store 😮
    • Hello does anyone have a wood chipper i could borrow over next week
    • I know it's irrational, but they are everywhere. No offence, but in many cases it seems a lazy (OK, sensible!)  choice because they are evergreen, change with the seasons and are relatively low maintenance. However it's become a running joke with my partner and daughter. At least Photinias don't drop their leaves, though!
    • Thank you thank you to whoever wrapped my scarf around the fence at Maudsley hospital. Sooo glad to have found it.😃
