Dear Dulwich Mum, may I say it's a pleasure to be called a culchie from a jackeen like yourself. Why you call yourself Dulwich Mum beats me. That makes me Dulwich Dad. Admin can you change my name please?

As for the All Ireland Final, I will admit that Gaelic football was never my game but I watched the second half of the match and enjoyed the excitement it generated and no little skill from what are in effect amateur players.

Good luck with your home improvements DM. Unfortunately that's yet another area of expertees I am sadly lacking in. However if you want your spuds picked let me know.

Kerry won by about 4 points. Not sure why you wouldn't have that channel Mick as you have Sky? Cork blew it though as they had many more chances they didn't take.

Well well well, what do we 'ave 'ere then...

Dulwichmum's a bogtrotter is she, I'd never have known it (OHBEGORRAH!). So DM, shall we address you as Dulwichmick from now on?

Here was me thinking you were a P.R princess, but all along you've been a fly-tipper! Disgusting behaviour!!

How dare you Declan!!!

I'm as English as a delayed train. When I've got Paddy's under my charge on site I work them to the bone and make them do all the dangerous jobs. I make them work for pittance, and kick them in the face afterwards.

Bogtrotter indeed. You're all the same to me!!

Right, this is the bloody limit.

Declan I'm no spud muncher and if I was I'd have the common decency to keep it to myself, not parade my paddy badge on an online message board.

I'm poking my nose into a bog oirish discoshon because as an Englishman it's my god given right to go wading into other people's affairs and start chucking my weight and opinions about.

I know, this should convince you...

Oliver Cromwell was a good man!

"You've finally convinced me BBW."

About bloody time too.

"You are undoubtedly English if you think Ollie was a good man! Uneducated maybe but English of course. Sorry for the misunderstanding."

Think nothing of it Declan. After all, it's not like you Irish are known for your quick thinking is it. We'll just put your incompetence down to your national stereotype of being "a bit tick".

"PS Are you a Chav?"

That's a rather strong word to describe a former colonial master Declan. No. I'm merely a rude, insensetive, self opinionated arsehole. I'm an Englishman, and I'm better than you.

Rude.....I never noticed.........insensetive.........not sure about the spelling, self opinionated arsehole..........you wan't someone else to have opinions for you? Better than me........at what? Pistols at dawn I say and we'll see!

PS Have you forgotten about DM in all of this?

Declan dear heart, my mother is from Drumcondra, it is true. My father was an artistocratic Argentinian, and it is commonly known that I have a fabulous south American/Italian accent. I wish the BBW would forget about me, he is such an arse. But that is teenagers for you. Perhaps next week he will spend less time in his box room and go make some friends his own age...

    • @first mate not aware of any either. Found this relating to 23-24..  https://services.southwark.gov.uk/southwark-creates/funding/cultural-celebrations-fund?chapter=4
    • Do we still get 50+ outdoor community events per year? All the ones round here seem to have been cancelled, like the Christmas Cracker and the summer equivalent and the Small Business Saturday event etc.  Even on the Southwark Presents page the only events in East Dulwich in the foreseeable future are non-council events organised by other people. https://www.southwark.gov.uk/southwark-presents?event_price=All&localgov_event_locality[0]=239&date_min=&date_max=&search=&page=2
    • @CPR DaveWe are talking about Lambeth Council, not Southwark, but I agree. It will be interesting to see if Lambeth fill part of that space with another hire out to a private events company.  As to the idea that what is gained financially from hiring out Peckham Rye Park is a good trade off, does not account for long-term damage to the park and the loss of access to the community for a month at least, in the best summer months where trees and shrubs are in full bloom and animals are birthing or rearing youngsters. For the Council to claim they are 'green' when they allow this is hypocrisy at its finest. @Northern Star Thanks, so they say. I'd love to see a list of these high quality free events and what they entail. I am not aware of any high quality free events in and around ED. Stand to be corrected though. Crikey, seems like they cannot even let Lordship Lane have Christmas lights this year.
    • Regarding Gala fees: https://services.southwark.gov.uk/assets/attach/280615/GALA-2024-and-one-stage-shows-stakeholder-consultation-findings-report.pdf‘ ‘’The decision to host large/major-scale commercial (ticketed) events in Southwark was taken in 2017, deemed necessary in order to raise enough revenue to offset the running costs of the Events service, which supports the delivery of 50+ outdoor community events per year, and in order to continue to fund a range of high quality, free events across Southwark through the Cultural Celebrations Fund grants programme.’’
