Moos
Peroni is delicious, this thread is hilarious (no, I haven't clicked any links), and look! D_C is back. It's Friday, it's sunny... if I didn't have a mountain of work to do, everything would be just tickety-boo. Moos
Maybe I'm just too Pollyanna for words, but if I'm in an office anyway, I'd rather it were sunny than dripping with rain. At least one can enjoy looking at the blue sky and hope to get out into it soon. Jah Lush
Lager? If I must and I usually only do so in the summer or when it's hot these days then it's gotta be Stella Artois or canned Red Stripe but I'm open to other suggestions. Peroni ok with Pizza. Brendan
I have recently discovered the joys of making boilermakers/depth charges with Guinness and Jack Daniels. You need a good wide, substantial whiskey tumbler full of Guinness, drop the shot glass of JD into it and down in one. Absolutely sublime. I could eat a beer the size of my head right now. Jah Lush
Oi! A boilermaker is a pint with a whiskey chaser. Guinness depth charged with whiskey is some else altogether. Brendan
Jah, I?ve always been under the impression that a boilermaker is a beer and a shot (of whisky/ey). You can then, if you so choose, depth-charge your boilermaker. Make sense, no? Brendan
Anyway, Guinness and jd depth-charges make the world a better place, like M?decins Sans Fronti?res and the wheel. As someone who has consumed many a Guinness and many a JD in your company I?m sure you agree.
