I found one at work today, and was crossing the room with it on a piece of paper to throw out of the window and two people shrieked and insisted on moving before I passed them, they were so scared. I have never known anyone scared of a ladybird before. Anyone else scared of them?

No offence WOD, but this didn't happen, did it?

It's OK, admit you posted spurious, it's alright, we'll understand and embrace you as a sister.

Heck, who amongst us hasn't made up something and let our fingers do the walking.

I know I have.

Anyone know of Ladybird books? The tales they could tell.

Of course these days it's these immigrant ladybirds, we haven't got enough resources in this country for them and our native ladybirds, dubtless they arrived on Peckham's racist trees, Gordon Brown should do something, won't anyone think of the children?!?!

Actually they are nasty little buggers, they're aggressive and they bite.

I?ve never been bitten by either.

Ladybirds are however the lions of the rose garden. Aphids are like the wildebeest or maybe the cattle if they have ants tending them.

Ever sat for a few hours and watched the drama unfold between ladybird, ant and aphid on a rose bush?

Only me?

Oh well.

    • We used a firm called Smile air con to do ours. Very simple and quick. Also there is another firm in Herne Hill we have used to service ours. Couldn’t live without it now

We will continue to do our utmost to address any concerns that may arise. Thank you all for your continued support. We also wanted to emphasis the importance of keeping yourself hydrated and cool during this warmer weather, Please take care of yourself and others in this Heat and if any emergencies occur Dial 999 or 101 for Non-emergencies.  Thank you once again, - Dulwich Hill Safer Neighbourhood Team
