womanofdulwich
I found one at work today, and was crossing the room with it on a piece of paper to throw out of the window and two people shrieked and insisted on moving before I passed them, they were so scared. I have never known anyone scared of a ladybird before. Anyone else scared of them? mockney piers
Of course these days it's these immigrant ladybirds, we haven't got enough resources in this country for them and our native ladybirds, dubtless they arrived on Peckham's racist trees, Gordon Brown should do something, won't anyone think of the children?!?!Actually they are nasty little buggers, they're aggressive and they bite. But a swarm of about hundred, as I had last year, I was screaming like a banshee. Brendan
I?ve never been bitten by either. Ladybirds are however the lions of the rose garden. Aphids are like the wildebeest or maybe the cattle if they have ants tending them. Ever sat for a few hours and watched the drama unfold between ladybird, ant and aphid on a rose bush?Only me?Oh well. womanofdulwich
No seriously one 30 year old Kiwi girl and one Kenyan/Indian guy . Maybe not part of their culture - but he is 30 and has lived here for 22 years. My colleague and I were laughing and then we realised they were really scared!!
