Fish and Chips

Does anyone have any good recommendations for Fish and Chips? Used to go to the Sea Cow but have heard really bad things of late.

Preferably somewhere that delivers!

I get take-outs from the Sea Cow regularly and am interested in what you've heard.

As per a recommendation, the one on Forest Hill Road (Sea Master) is good.

Just a few friends and family members that have had pretty average food with poor service compared to previous experiences. Looks like a fair few recent Tripadvisor reviews match this too.

Still good for you though I take it?

Emily's plaice NXR. I prefer the skin off and they have no problem doing that for me. And they're nice people. Don't deliver though AFAIK

Two Brothers (opposite the closed Grove Tavern) deliver. They do Fish and Chips - also kebabs, burgers and chicken. Very nice fish .......

Very impressed by this place, and they deliver. Ordered from them last week using Hungry House app but just noticed they have their own site. Fresh, hot, huge portions.

Two Brothers are very good and cheaper if you ring direct rather than the other sites who charge for their service . Also the one on Underhill Road sorry cant remember the name they are very good too ,don't think they deliver though.

My current favourite is Fish, Chips and More. 46 East Dulwich Road, SE22 9AX. They have a fairly comfortable seating area and its rarely busy.

Not sure if they deliver, but I would never want someone to deliver chips -- they'd bound to have gone cold and it just feels wrong in so many ways!

I use Sema's in Underhill Road. Always good quality. Staff are friendly and they are always busy. They don't deliver.

Slightly out of ED, but Brockley Rock is very good.

Dulwich Fryer, between ED Station and Sainsbury's used to be good (not been in since the new owner took over, though).

Current regulars are Fish Chips & More and Codfellas, which are both acceptable but nothing special.

Another vote for Brockley's Rock - you can phone in your order and collect.

I never "got" fish and chips before eating here. Now I'm there twice a month :D
