An alternative place to eat is the Wellcome Centre - three minutes from Euston.

It's a fabulous space, is licensed and is great if you're looking for a light supper followed by devilishly good cake option. Worth looking at the exhibitions if you get a chance too.

Diwana Bhel Puri (I think that's what it's called) and Ravi Shankar are run by the same people, so both excellent cheap South Indian Food.

Best things are the bhel puri starter and the almond kulfi ice cream dessert, best kulfi in London and home made, not delivered from some central kulfi production factory.

But the dhosas are pretty good too :)-D

    • Of course they do, watching cookery shows and buying cook books is a national pastime. However you raise a good point that some people claim they are time poor and end up eating out / takeaways as sometimes a quick macciedee is cheaper and easier than making a quick nutrious family meal.  However to put it in balance, not many people have the knowledge, confidence and time to cook Persian so good luck to team persepolis on this venture.
