Our beloved little mini was stolen the night before Christmas Eve from Matham Grove. We've had it for 13 years and had only just got it roadworthy and back on the road 2 months ago. It's a British racing green old style mini, I've attached a picture.

I know it's highly unlikely but if anyone knows anything or has seen it or is offered it please let me know. We are desperate to have it back...

    • That's a shame as it was a nice local place that provided something different to pizzas, pasta or burgers. We are still fortunate to have a few independents such as Kartuli, Monkatsu, Evi's and Kokum but it does feel we are getting towards use them or lose them to the chains.
    • Big recommendation for Niko, got the job done a day or so after I contacted him with taps I'd already bought but wasn't sure they were suitable.  Friendly and knowledgeable as well.

    • I found the timeline shared here really useful when I was buying and converting my loft, so thank you to Nick86 for posting it! My loft conversion is now complete, and I received building control sign-off some time ago. However, I’m now stuck in a drawn-out back-and-forth with Southwark Council over various additional sign-offs they say are needed. It’s been incredibly frustrating -  very disorganised, and every time I send them everything they request, weeks later they come back with something new. I've asked for one clear and concise several times but it makes no difference.  Has anyone else been through this with Southwark Council? If so, do you have any tips for getting it over the line? At the moment, I can’t proceed with the lease amendments or update the Land Registry until this is resolved. It's truly maddening!
