Spitting is simply vile! I'm so sorry you came in contact with this scum of the earth. I would have gone absolutely nuts if someone had spat in my face - EFFING NUTS!! Urghhh, just the thought of it!! Disgusting!!!.... uhm, sorry. lol

I think my rage would be followed by puking at my feet, I would feel so violated...

& I agree with dbboy. I think you should report it to the police. Don't let this cum-bucket get away with it!!

I got spat at years ago by some old grimalkin piss-head in the street who just happened to take a dislike to the way I looked (young and fresh compared with wrinkly old bag). She then proceeded to cackle that she had 'AIDS'. It is a really horrible feeling of violation. I sympathise. I did however get the boot into her arse as she walked off.

I don't agree with the 'hope he dies' gang but you can imagine that he will get his just desserts some time.

For future reference (not hoping you'll need it), but all Tube stations (unsure of BR stations) have DNA swab kits for this very reason, although it's usually the staff that get spat on and the British Transport Police are very keen to press for prosecution. It's assault and scum like this shouldn't get away with it.

Disgusting

The shock of such an event must kind of root you to the spot for those vital seconds that allow the little asshat to escape.

On the plus side, you never got arrested for assault, which would probably have been the farcical end result had you managed to catch up with him.

Whilst I am sure we in the west country are not underserved by our share of scum bandits, I am still glad I live here now rather than there.

Sorry this happened to you.

    • They're a supplement, usually made from whey, which are used after weight training. The theory is that weight training tears the muscle fibres (Feel The Burn, No Pain No Gain, etc), protein helps repair this and aid lean muscle growth. The faster you can get protein into your system, the better, so obviously liquids are absorbed faster than solids Beans, poached egg or peanut butter on toast, are pretty typical post training meals to achieve the same thing. They're much like a very thin milkshake or Slim fast, so nothing anabolic. I used them when I was training three or four times a week and the results were pretty good, if I do say so myself.   Cross-post with Ianr
    • On your last point jazzer, no. I've been reading around various aspects of them today.  The majority of them appear to be not much more than whey obtained from milk. That makes them about 75-80% protein. Have  a look at the H&B products.  They list all constituents. On the 18+ issue, OP, I suspect that what you noticed was probably at most a recommendation that they not be used by under-18s.  Even then, I only came across it on one website, by chance, when seeking for evidence of prohibitions:  https://ultimatesupsg.com/blogs/nutrition/whey-protein-should-individuals-under-the-age-of-18-take-whey-protein-to-build-muscle.
    • Simple question, why is a 16 year old taking protein powders? If they want to build up muscle, try using weights in the gym, doing it naturally.  Presumably  these powers are not natural products and more likely to be synthetic materials?
    • tbh not impressed. I review restaurants and decided to give them benefit of the doubt that it was an off day and didn't write it up. There's a new restaurant by the Plough which I think is Turkish (where the strange French restaurant was many years ago). Planning to try that soon, if anyone has been let me know what you think./
