You're not fussy either I see. Although you did once leave the 10 year old Appleton rum I poured for you.

(You forgot Woodfordes reserve)

Left a ten-year-old Appletons? I find that hard to believe.

How on earth could I have forgotten the Woodford's Reserve? Good grief! It's finest bourbon known to humanity. Thank god you reminded me.

I'm along the same lines - with Strathisla being my current favourite malt (but any damn whisky will do if I'm stuck).

Have never experienced Chateau Margaux and I'm afraid it is never likely to happen.

I'd replace rum with brandy, on Jah's list, for after dinner purposes, of course.

Stella, Adnams Broadside, cold Muscadet, Prosecco, gin, tonic, ice, lemon, that red stuff whose name I can't remember but which turns gin pink, dry cider, BAILEYS if it's Christmas or something else sweet and sickly, yeh malt whisky :))

Dark rum if hot chocolate is also available :))

Oh and maybe calvados ....

    • They’ve backed away from pretending they produce their own goods recently. That claim sat at the centre of the misdirection for years. They’ve now accepted they can’t sustain it, so they’re beginning to highlight the local independent bakeries whose products they actually sell. The business is essentially a courier model running on a slim margin.
    • Another sparrow hawk visor to our cherry tree at the weekend.  Our robin survived, but we may be a sparrow down.     any thoughts on bird feeders & bird baths with the current bird flu?  I try to wash out the bird bath most days when at home, but not on the 3 days in a row that I’m in the office & the bird feeders rather less regularly. Would it be better not to have at all (as my partner thinks)?
    • OOOPS. My daughter just had to pay a five pound fine. I hadn't put a stamp on it. I remember wondering whether to use a  first or second class stamp,  and clearly when I posted it I still hadn't decided (but sadly didn't notice). I feel really bad for suspecting a postie might have  opened it.  Sorry posties.
