Sadly can't do tomorrow - my little one's birthday and will be blowing up balloons and making cakes etc or I would definitely join you. Next Friday?

BTW after we left you last week got absolutely plastered in the Dog and got in all sorts of trouble, steering clear of there for a while!

It's already arrived, my girlfriend's coming back from the states with them today. I hope she got a pink one, that would be lush.

So the dongle goes in the PC so it can interface with the DS? I don't get it. Forgive be for being a bit thick and not getting why you can't play over the interweb without it when wifi's already built in!

yep, it's exactly like your usb wifi receiver for your broadband, except it's only for the DS. You can then browse internet on the DS should you be daft enough, do some interfacy things on the nintendo site, and of course play Mario Karts or whatever with anyone in the world. (except me, I don't have a dongle)

Hang on, but I have a wireless router! So do I still need that dongle? (still utterly confused)

found this on an interwebsite somewhere:

"Don't have a wireless router but want to play your original style Nintendo DS or Nintendo DS Lite online from home? You can use the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector. The USB Connector is a dedicated wireless access point that plugs into a USB port on your PC. It uses your PC to access your existing high-speed Internet connection."

    • Colin.    One for the old school.   Just saying.
    • Signed, and I will share it elsewhere, thank you for posting this. It's got nearly 70,000 signatures at present, and apparently runs till February.
    • There’s a couple of Gov petitions going on in relation to fireworks at the moment but this one is for banning them entirely except organised displays if anyone wants to sign. This is the only sensible way forward in my view. No one should be able to let them off in gardens or anywhere like that, it’s crazy. I am surprised some of you have said it hasn’t been as bad this year. I live near DKH Saino and it’s been absolutely terrible my way for days. This petition gained about 20,000 just in the last day or so so clearly the appetite is there! https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/732559
    • I'd have thought they could use some of  their income from hiring out a large part of Brockwell Park in the summer (therefore, as I understand it, preventing local residents from using much of it) to put on a firework display there  in the autumn which might somewhat make up to those residents for the previous loss of use of the park. And also generate goodwill.
