Any NintendoDS Players

I have a few games that need two players, just wondered if there was anyone else out there with a DS who would like a game

I do, but it's been sitting in my drawer at work gathering dust for a long time, and I've no dongle.

Perhaps a game down the EDT some time? What's your poison?

Dongle is that the pointy sticky thing - If yes then I have a spare

no, it's a bluetooth USB thing that you stick in your PC which allows DS players to play each other over t'internet from the comfort of their own homes.

I see, I shall look into getting one of those.

What games do you play?

I was really hooked on Hotel Dusk Room 215.

I've read good reviews about that.

Advance Wars DS is superb. Ostensibly cutesy things blasting each other, but actaully closer to chess once you take away all the animations. Top Stuff.

Then really got few puzzle games for travelling.

A few puzzle games too - Phoenix Wright is a firm favorite and Trauma Centre Under the knife

BTW after we left you last week got absolutely plastered in the Dog and got in all sorts of trouble, steering clear of there for a while!

I love Nintendo, and have always gone for them above other consoles, but could never really get in to hand helds... Possibly because the screens a bit small for my rubbish eyesight :-S

Do you need that dongle thing for the DS Lite or is it built in now?

WiFi is built in to all the DSs. The dongle thing is not for playing near each other it's for playing over t'internet.

It's already arrived, my girlfriend's coming back from the states with them today. I hope she got a pink one, that would be lush.

So the dongle goes in the PC so it can interface with the DS? I don't get it. Forgive be for being a bit thick and not getting why you can't play over the interweb without it when wifi's already built in!

yep, it's exactly like your usb wifi receiver for your broadband, except it's only for the DS. You can then browse internet on the DS should you be daft enough, do some interfacy things on the nintendo site, and of course play Mario Karts or whatever with anyone in the world. (except me, I don't have a dongle)

My girlfriend has a DS... she has a little adapter thing for it, so you can play downloaded games from a memory card. Not exactly kosher!

Hang on, but I have a wireless router! So do I still need that dongle? (still utterly confused)
