Bob, these adjectives could be construed to be offensive. I'm a vegetarian which is not quite a Vegan but I wonder if you know the difference and if it would matter anyway? As for people with dreadlocks...........so what! Sulky.......have you never been 'sulky'? Teens..........well they would be between the ages of 13 and 19. Nothing they can do about that is there.


Bottom line is if you don't like the music you don't like it. I don't. By the way both parties are tied to Sony so Simon what's his name will hardly give a fu*k. about it.

Confounding the efforts or at least the expectations of the general idiotic gaggle of humanity is funny though. And it is worthwhile to assert now and again that not everyone buys into the same shit.

I wouldn?t describe myself as a Rage fan either. They take themselves way too seriously for dancing monkeys. Their first album was genre defining however but then they released Evil Empire which showed that they were one trick ponies.


I made an effort to watch the X factor this year though and as far as ?entertainment? goes it is a whole new universe of shit. It redefines the laws of shitness. And at the end of the day there is some twt in charge of it who has engineered some sort of national tradition out of the whole thing which is a testament to the celebrated mental retardation embraced by popular culture.


This sort of thing is just the same as a heckle of ?W@NKER? as a politician walks passed. A vocal display of social annoyance at someone being a w@nker.


You don?t have to like the song or love the band or some shit to appreciate the idea.

My friends have a single out at the moment. Can we cause a genuine upset by getting four unknowns for Dublin to number one at christmas.

Genuinely lovely lads too and I don't think Simon cowell will make a penny out of the deal.

The song's ok too if you like travis meets radiohead via U2.

I have no idea what you are talking about with regard to "pulling on doors that say push" and I would like to remind you that I am a married lady. However, I am prepared to ignore your filth and inuendo, and when I return from my Brazilian Blow Dry treatment this afternoon, I shall ask the au pair to assist me with the purchase the single you describe, while raising a glass to poking Simon Cowell in the eye!


I understand that they no longer sell records in Woolworths and I must do something swizzy online - I am such a technophobe (sigh)

      Assistance Dogs - Autism: any experiences?

      https://www.assistancedogs.org.uk/information-hub/assistance-dogs-emotional-support-dogs-and-therapy-dogs/   hello   i’d be interested to understand if anyone.has experience of Assistance Dogs especially for autistic children of different ages for emotional support and therapy   There was a prior thread on this topic on EDF 10 hrs ago but it had limited experiences and there was a (claimed) change in UK legislation in 2019. Whilst the industry appears unregulated/unlicensed, there are several providers (approx 15, perhaps more) who claim to have fully trained dogs or say that they can help families to train a puppy/young dog over the 18-24 months.  The latter obviously comes with a need for strong commitment to the challenge. Costs for a fully trained assistance dog are quoted at £13-15k albeit they claim £23k total cost to train the dog. On the one hand, this could potentially be a useful solution for some families if such a dog was truly trained as their websites claim and such a dog was accepted in public places and schools etc… On the other hand, I don’t think that I’ve ever seen an assistance dog of this type or in this context (only for a blind or partially sighted person) and hence a real risk of fraud or exploitation! The SEN challenge for families coupled with limited resources in schools or from local authorities or the NHS as well as the extremely challenging experience of many families with schools offering little or no support or making the situation worse leaves a big risk of lots of different types of fraud and or exploitation in this area.
