I remember me and daizie abandoning you in the boho, we abandoned you damnit, but you have the fourth musketeer turning up tonight, so escort you need not...

edited to say daizie did NOT abandon you, she just had to 'go'...

Hang on a minute...who said anything about daizie abandoning? You were my appointed escort! But..who is the fourth musketeer? Don't tell me it's.................is she coming? oooh, the excitement.

whoever managed to break all of those glasses was surely a nutter.;-) the cherry staff were great though and very efficient in clearing it up.

Seanmac, thank you for buying us a bottle of red, you are a true gentleman.

Yes it was another of those fabulous evenings...I had such fun and so many laughs with the other 3 musketeers (daizie, KK, and Mon). Brum and Karter, it is always a joy having you around. HAL9000 it was so so good to see you again after all these months...please don't leave it so long next time...and apologies to everyone if I neglected you owing to "catching up" with the Computer. Your guest was an absolute delight too. I do hope he had a pleasant evening and that he comes again. Lovely (actually that word is inadequate, but pea brain struggling at present) to see some of the familiar faces such as ????, Georgia, Raj, Sean, Sue and great to meet some new people such as alleycat and floatingonion, zaraband, geo and all those lurkers...nice to meet you all too. Fabulous seeing Marilyn and Ben too...Ben thanks for the drinks, twas exceedingly generous of you. Apologies if I've left anyone out - it happens at my age!

As KK said, shame about the behaviour of some. Thankfully it was towards the end. And KK, I think I'll decline your...ahem...offer!;-)

Ooops, edited to say...nice to see you again Bob and Val (phew!).

Oooops, edited again to say thank you to Georgia for arranging...and those nibbles...mmmmmm...especially those prawns...delish! Which reminds me...brum - you didn't save me any chips you piglet!!!

OK, this is becoming embarrassing now...edited a third time due to incompetence and stupidity.

Fourth edit: just remembered Andy the Lurker...nice to meet you (PeckhamRose...Andy thought I might be you for some reason!).

Oh dear, fifth edit: nice to meet anotherPaul too.

Angela always looks after the forum drinks at the Black Cherry, fair play to her (with apologies to her for the behaviour after I left. Honestly I turn by back for two seconds...)

I met many first time attendees who were happy to give their real name but not their posting name for some reason - I hope they had a good time anyway

Good to see quids abandon the shirt for a far more classy jacket. And AnotherPaul made up for his non-attendance at the last 24 drinks by cramming as much info into each second as possible - twas a joy to be witness to it

And brum and co.. you're welcome

"I met many first time attendees who were happy to give their real name but not their posting name for some reason"

Good to see Ted and *Bob* finally made it. Good show lads. And whats all this talk of misbehaviour you all keep whetting our imaginations with?

Do you mean me?? I suppose I did eat quite a few.... however in my defence the bowl was placed on the table right in front of me!! How could a food dustbin such as myself resist??!

    • It's not incredibly difficult to understand that people vote Reform because they don't want the Tories back and they don't like Labour and they don't like the state the country is in. It hardly makes them "criminally negligent" - in fact, Sepiroth,  you can just stop insulting people just because you don't like what they have to say - it doesn't really add to your credibility. While Sep says "What the country needs is a serious, mature electorate", what the country REALLY needs is a party that we can trust - and that we do not have.  There is no point at all in having a serious and mature electorate if we don't have a serious and mature party to get vote for.
    • mine's the same - use shears, then mow, but I only do a part of the lawn - the rest is covered in daisies, violets and other flowers, so I leave it. I have to be very careful though - we have slow worms
    • I'm watching a neighbours lawn where the grass is hourly increasing in height .Wondering how on earth they are going to tackle cutting it .
    • Oh I had my hair blow dried within the £72. I assumed the stand alone price was if you were just going in for a blow dry for an event or something but maybe I’m wrong. And they dried my hair curly which was a relief as normally hairdressers insist on drying it straight with a bit of volume and I hate that!
