depends what country you live in.....go to India where the moustache is very popular (not sure if its considered to be cool though) and most frequently sported by the male species.

Yes we can Brendan - infact I recall in the 80's it was almost compulsory! We can't have beards though.... Our breathing apparatus may not seal properly around our faces and we wouldn't want that.
