Lordship pub

What a sad excuse for a local bar. The so called manager is unbelievably immature , when asked about the lack of a full glass he became aggressive and confrontational regarding the glass measures. I suggest this a poor way of running a bar and will show through again in the quick turnover of this venue. I imagine we will see it trading under a different name again soon. There are a lot better venues in the area.

Been there loads, found staff chatty & friendly, had a nice dinner on xmas eve, and when my dad came down to visit this weekend took him there for lunch, which he thoroughly enjoyed..Also one of my friends had a fab Birthday lunch there in the "booth" at the back. One of the things I like about it is how helpful & friendly the staff are, so find this post a bit odd.

I have had an awful experience of this premises and posted a truthful version of my experience. It's not the first time I have frequented this public house either. But have never had such a dismal encounter with someone behind a bar that I have been motivated to share.

    • Another recommendation for Niko. Great communication, top guy, and super reliable and skilled - all at a fair price. Takes a lot of care in what he does and talks you through everything.
    • Some foxes are very tame. The foxes that live near the electricity sub-station thing on the corner of Calton and Woodwarde will happily walk up to you/passed you. They are some of the best looking foxes around so clearly being well-fed - glorious coats and bushy tails but interested in humans and keen to engage/be fed rather than being scared.
