  1. Dogs like company Pearson, not being shut outside alone.
  2. Pearson, what you on about?
  3. Poor thing, being left outside is the problem, its probably bored half to death :( good luck.
  4. Huggers, last year they completely weeded, dug over the meadow opp Friern Rd and re seeded, we have a wild flower "meadow" ;-) on our shed roof, some of it is perenial but the annuels need reseeding, hope this helps.
  5. I think its volunteers who plant it up? Maybe I'm wrong though
  6. Dulwich dogman is on here, you could try Beckenham Dog Training club, if they are will ing to go of course, Pam Mulvaney, is the dog outside?
  7. Agreed, I have 2 dogs and always pick up, have a dog and pick up or don't have one, simple :)
  8. I agree steveo, its like he's never been away, bought a tear to me eye to say the least, all is good again (tu)
  9. Thanks for that reetpetite (tu) I bumped into 2 women in the park this morning and they said the same, amazing isn't it :)) all I can say is PHEW! I can stop worrying now ;-)
  10. I love my Ikea kitchen, my husband did lots of research into what we could afford and the Ikea one was by far the best value, we have the white high gloss one. He fitted it himself. The kitchen is gorgeous, I also love the innerds for the draws, luckily we have a cousin who owns a marble factory so we got very cheap granite from him. My husband says that the downside to Ikea is that you have to use there work tops unless you have your own made and cut to size, because the cabenits are slightly deeper so if you get a standard worktop it doesnt hang over the edge like it should do. Also, my husband collected the kitchen himself and had to manage 3 trollys full of stuff by him self, they don't help you load up etc, so be aware of that. Ikea at Croydon has a great display of kitchens, mine is sooo easy to keep clean too :)
  11. In my experince for what its worth, some of the cyclists over PRP will say excuse me or make some sort of noise to let me know they are coming, others rush up sooooo fast it scares the bejesus out of me. I always say thank you when they let me know they are coming and I always make my dog wait when I see them. Some people say thank you, some don't :)
  12. Does anyone know who it was that put the floating plant things in Peckham Rye pond? I think there was a group of volunteers. There is still green fencing around these and a coot/moorhen has nested smack bang in the middle of one, she is ok because her husband is bringing her food and I presume she can fly up and over, but when those chicks are born they are going to be stuck there :( so if anyone knows who can go in and take the fences off? I told a regular gardener on my morning walk and he said he would pass it on, but I am worried about them.
  13. If people can carry there picnics to the park, then they should be able to carry the remains home again (tu) We get the same problem in PRP too
  14. I agree with PR you may as well put a gun to there heads before the race :(
  15. Street party in my road somewhere in Forest Hill
  16. There is a petition I just signed on Facebook, not that they take much notice of them anymore. Its a travisty! I love 94.9 all we get nowadays is cutbacks everywhere we look (td) And WELCOME BACK CANDYMAN!!!!!!!!!
  17. Great pics as per usual :)) I was on that very beach in Broadstairs on Saturday, love it there. Us and our dogs walked from Broadstairs to Ramsgate, very dog friendly, they loved it (tu)
  18. Chatsworth House in Derbyshire is my dream home, it is beautiful, my own park for me and my dogs to run around in too, bliss :))

  20. Just what you need on your walk home :'(
  21. Sorry Sue :-$
  22. If you have a dog you should always be prepared to pick up after it, I don't understand what the problem is, every coat/bag I own has poo bags in the pockets, I even pulled them out of a pocket of a black coat that I have never worn to the park whilst at a funeral :-$ no excuse, lazy buggers.
  23. I think its a great idea, having known people in the past who have done this, it has had a good effect on the whole, of course, as someone said the size of the office etc would have to be taken into consideration, if I were a boss, I would welcome it. Great to have your best friend at work, walk in the lunchtime, company for the dog, lovely :)) but of course, not eveyone are dog lovers.
  24. It says the petition doesn't exist
  25. I hate the pond "goings on" this time of year :'( they nearly drown each other
