  1. That's a good one. Are you in politics?
  2. It's not "birds" anyway Brendan, it's "Shielas". How many more times!
  3. Always eat something before going on the p!ss. This really is good advise, which I all too often forget / ignore, and these are always the nights I end up in a state!
  4. Never trust an anonymous person on an internet forum!
  5. No, this one definitely a Melbourne boy.
  6. "go on just try it" :-S
  7. That's terrible! I think they should just stop serving Fosters as a mark of respect for anyone who likes a good lager!
  8. I use both "rock up" and "rock on". I think I picked "rock up" up from an Australian friend. This was probably around the time I started calling all women Shielas, and became a potential threat. Bloody Antipodeans!
  9. Hurrah, happy birthday Bob S!
  10. Oh, well that explains a lot, think I'll leave it there then, you're obviously right.

    Who is he

    A'ha!

    Who is he

It's like that song in Greese 2 "Who's that guy", BBW turns up outside the bowling ally on a cool motorbike with big goggles on thus his identity is hidden from people he sees every day! He then saves the day from the gang of mean bikers, and captures the attention of a young (and rather lovely) Michelle Pfeiffer (who is on the look out for a coo-o-o-ol rider)! I can't believe that just popped in to my head, haven't seen that nonsense for years!!!

    Who is he

Know I'm probably not helping, but that response did make me chuckle. I agree with Sean, if there is something that you really do think oversteps the mark, then you should report it, that is the best way to show your distaste, and deal with it. For my part, BBW does occasionally tread close to the line, but I don't think there is any malice or offence meant (but then I tend to see the good in people). Of course, meant or not, offence can still be caused, and I never saw the Jewish joke, but that's not on, and my wife would hunt him down with a shotgun if she saw it!
  16. Cheers for clearing that up, although you don't need to say sorry, I wasn't planning on trying it out! How does one define "completely off her tits" by the way? It does make you think it's probablky not a great idea to ever have a shag after a night out, just in case she's more drunk than you realise... What if you're both drunk? Law is so unclear and full of holes, it's little wonder they get so few convictions in rape cases!
  17. Probably, used to work in The Plough. I've only evber seen him and the older co-owner in there, all the other staff seem to be female unless it's someone new.
  18. Whoa there, can't let that one go. Fine if you don't agree with me, but don't go claiming you know my ethics! I was just suggesting that I wasn't sure it would be classed as rape had a drunk girl asked him for sex and he'd agreed. I made no suggestion of what I thought was morally right or wrong either way, and I don't really like what you implied there! For the record, I don't chase down drunk girls, and I think it's a pretty sleezy way to act. I made the (probably bad) joke about him being "in there", and sort of wish I hadn't, but all I was doing was discussing the legal possibility of the situation, I wasn't implying that it's okay to behave that way, because it won't be rape!
  19. Yeah I'm not feeling overly clever today either. Got in to work this morning, then remembered I had an exit interview with the director, which isn't really what I needed today. Was fun putting the boot in to one or two people though :))
  20. I have no idea Lizzy. I don't want to put his name on here, as I'm not sure he'd thank me, but if we're talking about the same guy, he's about 5ft9" with dark hair and eyes.
  21. I'd have felt embarrassed, but I don't think I could do a runner, I'd get 50 yards down the street and have to turn back. Damned conscience!
  22. Just to clarify, did you actually do a runner without saying goodbye? If so, that is harsh man!
  23. Just for the record, I was only being light hearted, but I bet it crossed a few minds. As for "wouldn't that be rape", I don't think so, she as an adult got herself in to whatever state she was in, and if she consented to a bunk up, then it's not rape. Had jaybee82 met her sober, and purposely gotten her off her tits, then I think that would be a different matter. She may have woken up in the morning with regrets, but I think it would be very harsh to call it rape if she was up for it at the time (and he'd done nothing to mess with her head). Of course I am no legal expert, and may be talking absolute nonsense!
  24. Well if no one else is going to say it, I guess I'll have to... Did you not just think to yourself "I could be in for a shag here"?

    Council Tax

We got a letter like that once over a similar amount. Must have cost them more to produce and post the letter than we actually owed. That's automated systems for you! Oh, and I'll provide a guitar amp.
