I love the CPT, can't get there as often as I used to (which can only be a good thing if I'm honest), but I'll always be fond of it! Guess that's what comes of basically growing up in a pub.

This is the big problem, of course these people's feelings are just as important as everyone else's, but at the same time, it saddens me that people have to feel censored. I think BBW has been a bit out of line once or twice, but I just get so scared of living in a world where people can't speak freely for fear of offending. A bit extreme perhaps, but it's not a huge leap from one to the other. What is the old saying, something like "I may not agree with what you say, but I'll fight to the death for your right to say it". (sure that's badly quoted), such an important thing!

Atila, you are right, although lets be honest, most of the current England players don't have the work ethic OR the skills! Oh, and just to go back, I like BBC coverage best, and think Andy Gray is a tool. A funny bloke when not talking football, but just annoys me when on Sky Sports!

I'm with Sean on this one, say what you will about the goverment, this is a good idea, and not the thread to start a general heard it all before critique of the rights and wrongs of the war! For the record, I marched against the war, and have never voted labour, but still want my bus rides to be nicer.

For my part, it's correct for admin to let you know if you've offended someone, but I'd like to think that admin might also say to someone that their complaint was a bit precious, and to get over it. Otherwise anyone could get anyone in to trouble. I've always felt this forum was ever so slightly over clean cut, but if it wasn't it might not be the great forum it is, so where does one draw the line?

Liverpool Man U a few years ago, maybe 2002 or 03. Can't remember much, only being sat next to a real arse of a Man U fan in the pub who got a bit nasty towards my mate. Oh how we laughed.

I'm with Red devil, I want all 4 clubs in the semis. I'd love a Liverpool Vs United match up over 2 legs, I think it was an old wrestler or something who said "to be the best, you've got to beat the best". Very true in my book, and United are the best, simple as that.

It's all relative though isn't it. 5 years ago Chelsea were a team that might win a cup, there was no big 4. Then they got rich, won a title, and suddenly fans had new expectations. Plus they suddenly got a lot of new fans who claimed to have supported for years, but that's another matter :-)

I've never had bother, It's just the noise that does my head in. I don't mind volume, but when there are 50 kids all trying to shout to be heard, I just feel like my head will explode.
