Did you all eat before drinking? Very unlikely that even drinking an iffy pint would do that to 3 people! Only other thing could be washing liquid in glasses, but you'd have tasted that, and the staff would have had lots of returned drinks, so also unlikely.

I actually had had a spliff when I first read it last night, and I was really rather confused. :-S

They certainly seem good at getting the extra few quid out of people after they've already spent a load on the actual console. Having to pay to play others on line is a total p!ss take!

I saw this once when off wok last year. The guests are typical fodder for this sort of thing, but the host, what a judgemental, sanctimonious cnut!!!

Was in there Friday night, not busy, except for our group. Was in there for the footy yesterday, rather busy, lots of really bloody annoying rugby playing lads, who felt the whole world needed to know that they played rugby! I hate rugger buggers, I used to play loads, but never felt the need to go around pubs talking in a really loud over confident voice, and making out that I was a huge drinker, when actually I couldn't hold more than 3 pints!!!!! For the record, I can hold a shed load of beer, but I wasn't one of these people :)-D

Find a post of mine where I've joined the both kids in pubs brigade. I still won't go to the ones that are full of them, like The Hearne was last I saw. But I've never said I hated anywhere... Not for that reason anyway. I'll have to meet some forum pals in the Uplands on Friday afternoons.

Whatever your opinions on this, that was rather a lovely post. And whatever my opinions on celebrity, if someone gave me a way to earn a wedge to leave my kids, I'd probably take it.

These kids are a bit different though Sean, as they've had to deal with it in public (another parallell to Diana I guess). Perhaps mum's fault, but sure she didn't mean that. Sad of course, but there we go. Not much more to say on this one.
