  1. Happy Birthday to Fear N' Boozing / CrystalClear! You made my head hurt this weekend.
  2. Thing that worries me about the Tories getting in, is not so much Cameron, but Gorge Osbourne, now there is a vile individual! Labour are crap though.

    One in Ten

    Well said.
  4. I'm definitely up for this, just out of curiosity!

    Watchmen

Heard ages ago they were doing a follow up to Sin City, but haven't heard anything since. Silence of the lambs is the one film that I preferred to the book.
  6. Great voice, total knobend though.
  7. I have to say I agree with *bob*. I love the idea behind the DM, but don't really think the shop was ever going to work (damn shame), and I think the idea of running music nights out of the Half Moon is great, and could be a success. It's a shame someone complimented your first post Markeddie, it was very funny and made me laugh, but it seemed to fill you with the confidence to be a bit of an insulting tool. Oh, and I'm not middle aged, and have spent lots of time in the DM.

  9. SP what about this point do you disagree with? I've not read anyone saying Ron is not a great player, but do you think he's a lovely lad and sportsmanship personified?
  10. Yeah, I should have bought you a 4th pint!
  11. Rosie, Sean is actually gay, and catholic!
  12. Indeed sir, but then, we do predate the forum, from back in the days when the CPT was the place for meeting new pals ;-)
  13. Shame about the shop, but the new idea sounds great! Half Moon is a great venue, in fact, we're playing there in May.
  14. I think there is a bit of a forum crowd. However, forum drinks are open to all, and new people are made to feel very welcome. That says a lot I think.
  15. I'm glad someone brought up the quiet room earlier, as that was going to be my point. Started very funny, if a bit surreal. Then just turned in to a really odd little flirt between a couple of forumites, and became a thread I just stopped clicking on. Things role on, maybe some have had their time, deal with it.
  16. I think that would be most peoples top complaint!
  17. Although this does feel a bit like all the old locals in the pub trying to make these younguns feel like they'd be better off in another establishment.
  18. Robbie Fowler is no looker, but he is God so that's okay.
  19. Spot on to quids earlier, and I support Liverpool.
  20. By the time that game went to extra time, Munich were out on their feet. Pains me to say it, but it's true.
  21. AFN I'm not sure there will be space for you in Nunhead cemetery, as I believe all the good spots have been reserved by people from Dulwich.

    Great Gigs

Just going back t Michael Jackson, I think he is undoubtedly a nut job, yet I am convinced he'd put on a hell of a stage show, and I'd definitely go if offered a ticket. I'd even pay for one if it was reasonable, but doubt it will be.
  23. Well that must make them the same then.
  24. I used to think about my funeral a lot as a morbid teen. These days I'll be happy if there is good music, and a massive party after complete with live band and class A's!
  25. Unfortunately, food isn't realistic, just nowhere for a kitchen.
