I got home drunk on Friday, then had a smoke. Next thing I know, they are showing babies dying, and I am on the phone giving 40quid. Oh well.

I always liked some of the houses overlooking Peckham Rye, although they are all no doubt divided in to flats now.

Or just "chilli sauce salad?", like it is one thing. It makes me laugh how you can go from walking in to a shop on a weekday evening and asking for chicken shish with lots of salad, and having a nice chat with the man behind the counter, to falling through the door at 4am Saturday morning, leaning against the counter and managing the word "Donner", which you take with chilli sauce and NO salad! Those guys have met Jekyll & Hyde on many occasions!

I never understood the thing about it being a slow starter, I liked it from the off. However, even now reading that, I just think calm down Sean, it actually IS just a tv show believe it or not ;-)

Just remembered an old friend from Sweden telling me some years ago (about 2002/03 I guess) that even then, online dating was the most common way for couples to hook up in Sweden. I guess it's that British habit of being a bit uptight about things that can gt in the way. I think there is a stigma held by some, and I admit I once thought it would just be weird people on there, but actually, I know about 10 women from 25 - 35 who have had a crack at it, all of whom have been good pals, and would be a catch for anyone.

So in a few weeks I'm going to suddenly grow up? ... Sh!t.

That is a great song. Coldplay also have a couple of decent tracks, but doesn't stop the singer from being a tool :-)

I know lots of women who've had varying success with it. I don't know any blokes who've tried it. I actually considered it once when I was single, but just didn't quite have the bottle. Lots of pervs on there, so just pick carefully and look at it as fun rather than route to true love, and you never know...

I'm 30, and until recently still tried to keep my student lifestyle going. However, marriage and an impending new arrival have definitely led to some changes of late... I'll never stop wanting my all night drinking sessions though. Guess I'll just have to appreciate the ones I do get in future. Feel rather happy with it all mind.

Just to clear up, I wasn't comparing doing drugs and drinking lots to messing with kids at all, they are clearly not the same thing. Christ, if they were, I'd have lynch mobs after me at the weekends!

Guess you're right about passion Matthew, but where do you draw a line? I always remember Roy Keane and Co getting right in a refs face, and that more than anything was the reason I don't like the man. Passion is passion, but surrounding a ref to get another player in to trouble is just a pussy boy thing to do.

So 2 wrongs make a right do they? I'd rather not behave like that and win the moral highground, but there we go. Anyway, was just a small point, doesn't take away from the result, just bugged me a bit when I watched the highlights again last night. No one else mentioned it though, so maybe it was just me.

Just for the record, I did not compare him to the rolling stones. I pointed out that a person / band's of stage behavious has little to do with whether they'd put on a good show or not. At the end of the day, we will never know the truth for sure. There is no smoke without fire, and I think that he is a bit dodgy, but it is possible that he is a mentally ill man, and sees no harm in having sleep overs with kids, who knows. DM, I agree that he's a weird man, and shouldn't be a parent, not just because of the abuse claims, but because those kids are growing up in a bizarre circus. However, the guy can dance, and has released some great pop music, and will put on quite a show. I'd go if someone gave me a ticket. It's like saying you shouldn't go and see the rolling stones because they do lots of illegal drugs and sleep with women who could be their granddaughters. Basically it has little to do with whether they put on a good show or not. Gary Glitter was just shit, and no one would want to see a show of his even if he was a nice man.

That dive by Pederson would have been hilarious had it not been such a disgrace. I hope he gets some kind of punishment! Talking of unsporting behaviour, the one thing I was unhappy with yesterday was the Liverpool players who wouldn't leave the ref alone ahead of the sending off, there is no need for it, and in the past it's been the sort of thing I haven't liked about some United players. Don't want to see that from the likes of Carra and Sami.

I'm with Rosie, quids and Asset, particularly Rosie, point about these 2 jurors, have no respect for anything they say in order to fill their pockets. Yes he's an oddball, but lets not have a lynch mob mentality.

I'm no Man U fan, but I'd not wish anyone dead in a plane crash. I'd maybe stretch to a broken toe or two for Ronaldo, but laughing at people dying isn't really on.
