  1. Like a rolling stone - Bob Dylan / The Rolling Stones
  2. Isn't pasta very popular with young Australians? Or is it Kiwis, I just can't tell them apart.
  3. I asked my doctor about this, and she said as long as you don't go mad you can drink on most antibiotics. If the label says DO NOT DRINK, then don't. I too have thrown everything at my liver, and as yet it's still doing it's thing... I also smell of drink sometimes, which makes me want to go to the pub :)-D
  4. May I suggest you contact Davide who is a local. If you look in the whats on section, he runs the Timewasters Club up at Dulwich Hamlet, and he may be able to help... I use a Marshall with 4/12 cab, but I'm not sure what is happening Monday yet, which is why I'm not sure I'll make the party or not (so will need to buy ticket on the door if I can make it).
  5. Somebody told me - The Killers
  6. Are they the 2 p!ss heads who often end up punching each other?
  7. Borrow for what / how long?
  8. I can't wait for series 5 boxset to come out, I've been rewatching Rome, and starting Deadwood recently (Deadwood is wicked, finished series 1, waiting for lovefilm to kick me off on 2), but nothing has quite drawn me in like The Wire. Jah, I'll get series 4 to you ASAP mate.

Strange indeed, maybe we glanced at each other across a busy bar once upon a time.
  10. Sorry I couldn't help out Saturday, I hope you got my message. Things have been, and will continue to be absolutely manic for the next few weeks (gigs and rehearsals), but I am keen to offer some help when things calm down a bit...
  11. Last time I rented in Dulwich we ghot it through Ludlow Thompson, and they credit checked us for free. One of my flat mates was Australian, and in a similar situation to yours. She just had to get a guarantor to say they'd foot any bills is she did a runner, so if you know someone who'd do that for you it may be easier.
  12. Being from London, I couldn't wait to spread my wings at 18. I went up to Liverpool for uni, and ended up staying on there for a couple of years after. I came down to Surrey in 2001 to train for my job, and genuinely planned to go back up to the pool when I finished. I ended up doing my final placement in London, and just fell back in love with the place. Thing is, because I stayed in Liverpool, and rarely even came home in the holidays, I fell out of touch with most of my old school crowd (most of whom all still hang out together), so it really was like starting again in Dulwich, but thanks to the CPT, I have made a whole new circle of friends over the years! :)-D
  13. We recently played a "chairty" gig for a couple of girls who are cycling across China to raise money for MacMillan. Now I have always thought MacMillan was a wonderful charity, so was more than happy to suggest it to the rest of the band. It was only on the day of the gig I basically realised that we were playing for beer to a packed house of people that were basically paying for these 2 young lasses to have a dream trip! That said, hopefully they'll raise a good few quid for the charity too...
  14. I know I said you could meet your mates for a drink tonight, but I have reserved the right to change my mind, okay!
  15. Alf was wicked!!!
  16. There's a place that keeps on calling me, Down the road that's where I'll always be. Every stop I make, I make a new friend, Can't stay for long, just turn around and I'm gone again! So if you wanna join me for a while, just grab your hat, come travel light that's hobo style!
  17. Gummie bears, bouncing here and there and everywhere, la la la la la beyond compare, la la la gummie bears. Hmmm that's about a 6 :-S Couple of threads here TV Themes And a similar thread to this.
  18. Men are wearing them, seriously? Why?
  19. It would seem not Sean, but I remember defending them on here before.
  20. Broad being stubbor, almost at the target... Lets make them get padded up to chase a total of 7.
  21. Well they made it to tea. Telling that aside from Cook, the 2 that have faced most balls are Anderson and Ambrose! :-S

I just don't see how anyone can be bothered with violence after a smoke. I can barely be arsed to stand up!
  23. I'd like to see Hoggard back in attack, he's fit isn't he? Agree the selection for this was all wrong! And agree Vaughan should maybe try dropping down the order a bit further.
  24. Cook gone, that's it then. I blame the South Africans, and not the ones in the opposing team!
  25. Booooo Hissssssss!!!! Hope all the pubs suddenly run out of beer! *does toddler style stampy feet thing* :(
