  1. Ratty, look out for my lovely friend Lynda on her scrummy cakes stall.
  2. Having read Sean's post... I meant the likes of Louisa who laugh at the "liberals", "yummy mummies" and "middle classes" really. Not that I believe in class, as I've said before, or really use the term "yummy mummy", but you know what I'm mean.
  3. I promise I have never, even in most anti-everything times even considered voting anything further right than tory, and 85% of the time, I am left of that (green actually). I like looking at different views, and think it's important. I get frustrated however when a view seems so set in stone that it has no chance of being moved by even the most powerful arguement. (NOT A DIG AT ANYONE!!!) Aaaaanyway, this is all getting away from the subject. *wipes tear of frustration from eye, and smiles at kind Moos* *Decides to go and drink himself stupid until the world makes sense to him again and he makes people laugh again*
  4. No it's not, I agree, and all too often the nation rises up in disgust because one bloke did something somewhere, and the press got hold of it. What gets to me on here (not just this thread, this one just happened to tip me) is the tone of some posts, they come across as patronising, superior, and basically far from any real experience (I believe what you say above, I can also relate, but like I say I am not just talking about this thread, and I certainly am not just talking about you). I have said to you in person that if I'd not met you and come to like you, I'm not sure what I'd think of you based just on this forum, and the same can be said for several others. I'm also absolutely certain that people would say the same of me! Sometimes though I see where the "baddie" posters are coming from on here. I am also just having a really anti everything time at the moment, so please ignore everything I've written / write recently, and I'm sure I'll be sweet, fair Keef again in no time. Bless you Sean for always having to stand up and and be counted :)
  5. But why do you love them so much? That's an honest question, I know they are part of you and all that, but I worry that should I ever have a kid, I will resent it a bit for the loss of the lifestyle that I do enjoy lots. I don't want to have to plan a month ahead to have a Friday night bender, and suffer horrifically the next day on the come down!
  6. 3-wheeler pram drive by's is surely the plan of action... Imagine the surprise element, they will have no time to take arms!
  7. I am mad busy July in to August, but from mid August I would be happy to help.
  8. Oh actually you're right, sorry, I was thinking of a real life person who we called competitive dad, doh!
  9. No Moos, he was competitive with other dads, I am far more petty!
  10. Surely the EDIs, in keeping with the local trend for acronyms?
  11. So is it okay to bowl a bouncer at a 10 year old?
  12. I'm not sure that's the clientele the CPT are currently looking for... He might wear dirty work clothes.. Or he would if he ever worked a day in his life!!! >:D
  13. I kind of like children, but when they go off on one, I find myself wanting to say "what aaaare you doing?", or "'ave a word with yourself mate". And when I let them beat me in a game, and they start getting all cocky about it, and saying they can beat me any time, I do find it hard not to absolutely destroy them next time round, just to bring them down a peg or 2... Maybe I'm best off childless :-S
  14. I agree about G+T, and that is why I hope the Barry thing gets sorted, as I'd like to see him feeding that partnership.
  15. I know, scary isn't it. I have talked to the new manager (seems a thoroughly nice chap) about doing some music there. Unfortunately very busy this month, but hopefully we'll get something running next month... He is hoping to get BBQs, and music going ASAP though, maybe this weekend. To keep on topic, I believe they still sell strongbow.
  16. Not since the CPT stopped doing Grolsch... Not that I've actually been anywhere near the place recently.
  17. Wasn't the 007 code for Bond based on the number of the coack that Flemming used to catch or something like that?
  18. The fact is, this is far from common, and this was tabloid telly, but so what if people want to get a bit enraged about it. There are some forumites that I find to be very patronising to people. You are not living in a Lit & Deb society. Edited: because it was written in haste on the bus, and I'd become so annoyed by some posts, that I skipped a load in order to rant. Huguenot's posts are great, and had I carried on that far, I probably just would have smiled and forgotten about it, or just written the above, rather than the former.
  19. Bloody well done! Now you can start making the rich richer :-)
  20. Love the way news stories hype stuff. Headline saying Liverpool interested in Villa. Of course they are interested, I'm sure a lot of clubs are. Read on slightly and Rafa says he's on the list but it would be difficult. Big story there then! You expect it on back pages, but I'd rather read facts on the bbc website.

    Work...Urgh!

At least you still have a wallet, even if it's empty ;-)
  22. Anna!!!! Have you stolen my name? ;-)
  23. I didn't actually see the programme last night, but have seen a thing on telly about him before. He has made himself this kind of celebrity that everybody loves to hate! Kind of like that thug who won the lottery a few years back, and loves to give the one finger salute to any photographer who will look. Annoyingly he probably got a good fee for the programme. If he claims incapacity on the grounds that he is alcoholic, he should be forced to have treatment, or have his money stopped!

    Work...Urgh!

Maybe she was kidding, but I bet your wallet is a lot lighter than it has been for a while!!! ;-) Good to have you back sir! And just think how good that first pint on Friday will taste this week!
  25. Whilst she may have gone too far on (quite a few) occasions, I actually think Louisa can be hilarious! Spangles / Natasha ... 30 / D ... Fried eggs, I'm losing it here!!! :-S
