  1. Please walk up and ask in a posh voice if you're in the right place for the crown green.
  2. Glad you started this thread James, I was going to do similar the other day, but it was all getting a big heated. I think that because sexuality is, obviously, about sex *giggles*, it is still a bit taboo, and it makes big macho people feel very uncomfortable. For that reason, it is not yet as "mainstream" as race.
  3. LOL. Good call James!
  4. Sean, I discovered Opera Mini ages ago, and it is pretty cool. Browser on my new phone is rubbish, but downloaded opera mini, and it works great, especially with the touch screen!
  5. But you are very pretty, for a French bloke!
  6. Steady on, a lot of people went to single sex schools, and we don't all have issues! I don't think this place sounds great though, but more for Muttley's reasons!
  7. Maybe they could do a deal with Aske's for use of their playing fields in Nunhead/Brockley (I am assuming Aske's haven't flogged them since I was there 12 years ag). They have masses of space, and it's not always in use by any stretch.

Now a year on, they are both proper friends in real life, and I have spent more hours drinking with Jah than I can remember... Or he... or anyone who was around at the time I'd imagine :)-D And I now know Anna(sfield), and, whilst slightly scared by her passion for footy at times, am really glad we get on so well in real life too! >:D< Anyway, sorry Moos, didn't mean to embarrass you, I know how embarrassing a thread like this can be, but it's also very nice at the same time, and you deserved the praise for making me chuckle to myself so much!

Annasfield Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Oh bugger - I'd forgotten about this.... :-$ > > Now I've met you can I change my mind? ;-) No you bloody well can't, it is in black and white for all to see, I am great! :-S If you like you can go back and edit the very first post, and change the title of the thread (meaning removing the "mine's Keef" bit), although I rather like it!

What BN5 said (I actually agree with that particular statement from Rico, but have yet to hear anyone offering some sense on the matter). And to Natasha & Moos, I agree with you. I have a good friend who moved out to Dorking with her husband and 2 young sons (third just arrived). As much as they love to show us the garden and the big house and all the lovely stuff there, they are basically unhappy and isolated and miss Dulwich like mad! She has told me she's doing it for the kids, so they have a better life. I can see how it would be nice to be a young kid there, but surely a teenager would be less bored hanging around those bus shelters! ;-)
  11. Yeah has anyone seen that odd girl with the Liverpool scarf who seems to just chat to everyone? Very odd :-S
  12. When is all this happening?
  13. Not just bringing this back for an ego boost (honest). I would like to make a mention to Moos, who just lately has become my favourite poster on here, very very funny, seemingly honest, and rather sensible. Just seems all round nice!
  14. I just want Bad lads army back on telly! Great viewing with a beer and a nice joint! >:D
  15. I went to a birthday party at The Clarendon, which is strictly Pimlico, but only a few minutes walk from the station. Not a "boozer", but I thought it was rather nice.
  16. I loved that story! With regards all these "trolls", lets just be aware that some people may come on here and genuinely have some different opinions to the norm, which is allowed!!! I just don't want to get to the point where people are being run out of town for voicing an opinion that doesn't match those of the majority, when actually they are just local people using the forum.

Don't think Murray played badly last night, I think it just highlighted how good Nedal and Federer are. Would love to see Safin at least give Federer a match, but can't see if happening.

Which all begs the question, why did we turn down ?9m for him???
  19. No, there are too many police who love the whole power thing, think it would be a disaster. Asked a Police Officer just recently why he signed up, and he replied "for the action". Oh dear.
  20. I knew I totaly nutter (female) in Liverpool who got in a row with a girl in the pub, and then chased her down the street with a couple of her mates, and did exactly that! Grim stuff, and as sexist as it may be, we were all even more shocked to think a woman had done that to another woman!
  21. So how much do you think Pompey will pay for Croutch then? Must admit I thought we'd take ?9m, but happy to get more.
  22. Liverpool trying to buy Robbie Keane. Never expected that. Apparently Croutch could go the other way as part of the deal, but can't see spurs fans being too happy. Could see Keane and Torres being a pretty interesting partnership!
  23. You bloody will be next weekend, but we'll buy your beer! :)-D ... Can we not discuss death this time ;-)
  24. Bob, that would be great! Could you sound him out and we'll see what's what. Would have to be September now I guess.
  25. Nice to see everyone smiling, and now time for a more general conversation on the subject... This was much the point that caught my attention yesterday, and as ???? said, there is probably some truth to it. The thing that made me think was how the likes of Graham Norton (I know a lot of gay people are not fans, but bare with me) have been taken in to the hearts of many people, and gone all prime time. There is also usually a lovable gay character in the BB household or other realiity shows. Now, I know this makes no difference to the "man on the street", but my point is that in this culture of Heat Magazine, celebrity and WAGs, gay people, especially the flamboyant type are welcomed with open arms. I don't think the same can really be said for black people. Discuss.
